Traveled for work but felt like being home!
From the beautiful decorated mansion, the high end detailed rooms, superb a la carte breakfast, several smoking and chillin areas ideal to work since theres wifi everywhere, wonderful, kind and helpful staff to the all day coffee lounge; everything put together makes of this lovely boutique hotel the best option to stay in when traveling to Mexico City!!
Most charming little boutique hotel on the planet !
I don’t know where to start ! But first huge kudos to the genius designer from Belgium who designed this heavenly property . I am just beyond smitten with the place . You can tell a lot of love was poured into the design to create a most unforgettable and most heart warming space . You walk into the lobby and are immediately taken by the explosion of tasteful colors which are daring yet work harmoniously with one another . There is not an inch of this space that is not well thought out and planned . There are little stands everywhere offering complimentary hot and cold beverages plus little snacks not to mention the many gorgeous crystal decanters filled with tequila . This hotel does not spare any expense . It’s like staying in someone’s beautiful mansion and the host is the most consummate and hospitable host ever ! Making sure his / her guests are comfortable and fulfilled every step of the way . The rooms of course , each of which are uniquely different are beyond creatively and tastefully appointed . And they’re not just a pretty face: crawl into the immaculately made beds to discover not only the most comfortable mattresses but the most luxurious and soft bed linens . Don’t get me started on thé breakfast which true to the term bed and breakfast , is included in your tariff . The menu features only the most refined truly Mexican breakfast dishes with flavors that will leave you feeling ecstatic and euphoric . A true culinary experience with every bite . And so much to choose from that we vowed never to pick the same dish twice . The most gracious waiter who serves you with all the warmth one can expect only from family and close friends , ensures you have the most delightful experience from the second he takes your order till you are all done ! He makes amazing recommendations and his service skills are spot on . The young gentleman at the front desk is also just the loveliest man and has been pampering us and attending to our every need from the second we had the absolute pleasure of stepping into this fine establishment . I’ve stayed at many many many hotels in my life , but this one I’ll never forget ! I’m so happy I opted to stay at such a unique and intimate hotel over one of the big chain hotels that lack even a fraction of the character this place has . I can not recommend this place enough : best service , best decor , best linens , best mattress , best food , best location (the neighborhood is très très chic ) , thé best everything .. i can go on and on and on but will leave you with this . If you’ve even read this far . Lol !
Beautiful boutique hotel
Great location in the Polanco area of Mexico CIty. Within walking distance of Museos Soumaya & Jumex as well as Chapultepec Park. Beautiful rooms with funky decor. The staff was very helpful, & the breakfasts were amazing! We stayed at Pug Seal for a Spanish immersion class, but we would love to stay here again when traveling for fun.
Outstanding!
The location in the Polanco neighborhood was a main reason for choosing this fine boutique hotel. Traveling with small children we wanted a safe neighborhood to walk around in and this place was perfect. The hotel is a thoughtful delight to stay at. There are a few cozy terraces throughout the property that allowed us to relax outside when needing a break from the city. As a traveler with small children What really set this fine hotel apart from others was the genuine attention from all of it’s staff. I forgot my eyeglasses and the staff generously helped to fedex back to the US. We stayed for five nights and at the end felt like we were leaving new friends. Thank you, Anatole France for helping make our family trip to CDMX so memorable!
Absolutely Beautiful, Exceeded Expectations!
Calling this place a B&B doesn’t do justice to the numerous choices of gourmet breakfast items available every morning. Small touches, like free beer in the room fridge and carafes of tequila in the lobby, along with fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon, add to the homey, comfortable feeling. The rooms are gorgeous, and I love that they are free of single-use plastics! Would highly recommend any of the PugSeal properties.
