More about the hotel
Very clean and excellent location.
My family stayed 2 nights in CDMX before going to Los Cabos. After looking at several hotel options, I decided to go with St. Regis. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Although the restaurants were closed, they delivered the breakfasts to the rooms in crisp white linen tablecloths, utensils packed in plastic bags, hand sanitizers, everything clean and top quality. We felt like royalty there. The location is excellent, the beds very comfortable and the staff is well trained. Well-appointed rooms with high-quality amenities. Ask for a high floor to get better views.
Luxury at its finest
I had the absolute best five-night visit. This hotel knows how to deliver a luxury experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a doorman and security who helped with my luggage. The front desk agents were very kind and professional. They sanitized my passport and room keys before giving them to me. The hotel provided housekeeping if I organized a time in advance. I dined in the restaurant twice but the atmosphere was a little too formal for me so I settled for room service for the majority of my visit. The room service menu was delicious. The only downside was the fitness center was never available due to the limited amount of people the hotel could allow each day. Other than that, it was a fantastic visit.
Excellent Property with Fantastic Service
The St. Regis Mexico is an excellent, well run property. The Hotel is located on Avenida Paseo de La Reforma, in the business district, but still close to restaurants and bars. We were unfortunately in Mexico City at a very trying time when all restaurants, bars and non-essential services were shut down. Accordingly, all of the hotel's restaurants and bars were closed, as were the gym and indoor swimming pool. However, the hotel staff and butlers were extremely helpful and accommodating. Offering to set up meals in private outdoor spaces, set up wonderful dining in the rooms, etc. The rooms are very well appointed with electronic controls throughout. If there is one gripe, I would say that the bathrooms do show some age and I didn't care for the shower / tub combo layout. One of our rooms had a strong musty smell from the bathroom because it's closed off and there is no exhaust there. However, that was really a small complaint for an otherwise extremely well run property. Would definitely return in less trying times.
Best of the best
Phenomenal. We just checked out and I'm already planning my return trip to this exceptional property. We stayed over the Christmas holiday 2020, during an obviously trying time for the hotel industry. And frankly, I would have been understanding if the experience had been a little sub-par as a result. But the team at the St. Regis, led by the fantastic Sr. Olivares, didn't miss a beat: the service and accommodations were top-notch in every regard. Every staff member was attentive, warm, and friendly, and we always felt that our happiness was genuinely their top priority. They made us feel like family, and as a result, we had one of our most wonderful Christmas holidays ever. Thank you to every single one of the staff members. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
Lack of costumers service
It was extremely hard to speak to a manger or someone in charge. Front desk required 10 plus questions just to get me to someone. Which actually led to not getting a hold of anyone. I think his name was rey or something close to that. I was planning on coming to this location but that has change. Basura.
