OK- Not 5 star

I'll start with the pros- the 2 bedroom unit was spacious and clean, the view was great, as was the location. But this is in no way a five star property. Maybe some units are nicer than others, but ours had definitely seen better days. The toilet seat was loose, and the towel rack was falling off the wall. We had 2 full size mugs only, which, for us, was not an issue, but considering it is a 2 bedroom unit was a little ridiculous. We did call about an issue with the tv, and they did send someone right up. However, he was unable to remove the closed captions from the programs. I also noticed that countless reviewers mention that they received upgrades. They also told me I had been "upgraded "to water view. Strange, that is what I booked and paid for. Don't really understand all the 5 star reviews. It was ok at best. The best part was Juan at the front door.

We spent our best vacation in this beautiful city, enjoying great bay views from our balcony. Very spacious apartments, recommended for families (traveling with kids), you can cook them 3 meals if you want to, you have the accommodations for that, just like home.
Great staff and service !

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel and I have no serious complaints with this place. Just minor. The only issue was I didn't have hotwater someone came to fix it but it still wasn't hot enough. They offered to move me which was great. I chose to stay because I wasn't in my room long enough for it to be an issue honestly. Plus, the way that Miami heat and humidity was this past week that water felt good! I would definitely like to give kudos to I believe he was the manager? I believe his name was Nick (I apologize if I got your name incorrect) he had an Oakley mask on. He definitely was trying to catch me on between me running out for parties to move my room. Greatly appreciate that! (Give that man a $50 an hour raise! Seriously!). Also, I would like to give Kudos to Sally the overnight front desk clerk. She was very helpful and had a great sense of humor when I came back late at night looking like a Smurf haha (give her a $50 an hour raise too!). I saved the best kudos for last! Now I believe when I asked his name he told me Remmi when I asked the front desk his name and described him they said Roman. Young black man probably mid twenties works the door over night. I came in at around 4-5am. A friend was with me looking for matches so they can smoke on their way home. Remmi(I believe that's what he told me his name was. Apologize if that's also incorrect) said they didn't have complimentary matches. He offered his personal lighter up. He not only offered it but said we could keep the lighter because he had more in his car. Now if your anything like me. You know SMOKERS DONT PLAY WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR LIGHTERS!! So for him to offer up a lighter is something that NEVER happens! Please give that man a $100/hour raise!!! That was something he definitely didn't have to do. Great staff! All around I'll be back. Now I know those raised I suggested/requested that they get won't happen, but I do STRONGLY suggest they be given NICE raises at least a $10/hour more raise! So serious too!
