Our check-in experience was fantastic, Grace was our check-in associate and was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Our room was very clean and the furnishing felt new. On the downside, we did find the cleaning staff forgot to clean the fridge as there was leftover food from the previous guest and was molding. The room service receipt was quite deceiving. There was a $6 delivery charge, a 19% service charge, and then followed by an empty line for "Gratuity". We ended up paying an additional $15 Gratuity as we didn't notice the service charge line as the delivery staff was waiting for us to write something in. Finally, the worse experience came after checkout. We booked through American Express's Fine Hotels & Resorts program which provided “free” breakfast credit of $70 for the two of us. However, after check-out, we got a bill and were charged on our credit card $77 for breakfast. I emailed the staff but didn't get any immediate response. The front desk staff was unable to help even though they were the ones that explained the free breakfast program during check-in. Eventually, Mariana, the credit manager, did reply via email but said the breakfast credit was already applied but was for a different charge. It took several emails to explain this problem and eventually, she fixed the error. She did credit back $61 with an updated invoice but never acknowledged any mistake on her end with an actual apology. Lastly, it's also impossible to get a truly "free" breakfast as Tips, Service Charges & Taxes must be paid separately. This seems to be a matter of false advertising.
Good hotel still but could benefit from a refresh

Had the opportunity to visit for 3 nights for a business meeting on the premises. Hotel has all the attributes one expects from a Four Seasons, viz. great staff, comfortable and well adorned room and good location but it is showing its age and could benefit from a refresh. Arrival and check-in staff were attentive, professional, friendly and very pleasant - always a good starting experience. Assigned room was nicely and warmly decorated/furnished but the fittings in the bathroom are dated and arguably tired. Ordered room service a couple of times - delivery was prompt, courteous and efficient - and the food was in good order. I had the opportunity to eat at the Edge Steak & Bar (breakfast) and the Bahia (lunch & dinner) - the food was good but not great, at least when compared to other Four Seasons that I had visited elsewhere. The hotel grounds, the pool area in particular, were spectacular. The conference center was also well well served by the staff but the projection equipment needs to be upgraded - the resolution of the images was very poor and could not be read (easily) if one set further than 10-15 feet away. Overall, a nice hotel still but probably falling a little shy of what one may typically expect from this brand.
In need of renovations amd upgrade

First the good news, good location in Brickell, great very large pool area, free usage of the excellent Equinox gym attached to the hotel, very soft beds and service minded and friendly staff. But that’s probably also about it, the property is tired, yellowish wood everywhere, rooms and bathrooms that could also have been in a Ramada, empty minibar (no explanation from staff when asked), and just terrible shower water pressure. Toiletries from L’Occitane, so old and uncool it’s hard to believe any hotel manager in their right mind would still use it. Worst part though, is that very strong smell of cleaning detergent in the restaurant area in the morning, like walking into a bar on Sunday morning, after they flushed out all the spilled beer on the floor. So it’s high time for a refurbishment of this old lady, before it damages the otherwise excellent Four Seasons brand.

We stayed at the FS during the beginning of November and had a wonderful experience. Everyone from the doormen/bellman/concierge to the front desk and service staff were amazing. Our room was great and the hotel is in a great location - a pretty quiet area although very close (w/in walking distance) to numerous restuarants/nightlife and other outdoor activities. 15-20 minute cab ride to the South Beach. Pool deck was amazing (open 24 hrs) and we had great service from the outdoor bar/pool staff. Added perk was having complimentary and easy access to the Equinox gym within the building. Highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely stunning hotel and very luxurious. Professional and friendly staff, we enjoyed the restaurants and all amenities onsite. (The pool was our favorite) Our room was beautiful and the location was an added perk
