Dont even count on getting a cup of coffee for free

Checkin was OK. Was recognized as a Premium member at Marriott and assigned a room on the 5th floor. I was told it was an upgrade. This hotel seems to still be making up its mind on whether it is a Sheraton or a Delta Hotel. I stayed at the same property a month and a half ago and it was the same situation then. The sign on the building is covered up (on purpose), supposedly, awaiting clearance to be called a Delta hotel. But if it was a Sheraton one would think that things would be more to the premium side, but wait there is more on that. With the no end in sight construction on I-40 nearby, this hotel is horrendous to get to. My room was towards the back of the hotel and a considerable walk from the elevator. The tiled bathroom floor had marks and dirt on it. The carpet and floor was unclean with visible dirt in many parts. The window sill was dirty. Now how in the hell does a window sill get dirty? The bed looked clean and it was late and I too tired to make an issue of this and decided to settle in. I was told that I should run the water for 10 minutes or more before I shower as there is construction going on nearby that could affect the water quality. I did this in the morning before taking a shower. The water got lukewarm at best. I complained at reception and they offered to move me to another room that is 'closer to the boiler' so the hot water situation should improve. I did that in the evening and yes, the water was warmer at the next room. Last time I was in the property, they had breakfast laid out and it was self serve. All that has gone away and this time even to get a coffee, one has to order it. There is no coffee in the lobby and they now charge $2 for coffee. One giant leap backwards. Practically on every day, when I got to the breakfast area there was not a soul in sight. I had to wait around before someone noticed that there is a guest waiting to have breakfast and comes over to take your order. There is a Pantry on the 5th floor for Premium guests (equivalent of an executive lounge) that was not open 1.5 months ago and still isnt. Somebody had spilled some syrup on the floor in the elevator and it would stick to your shoes when you step in. 3 days past no one has bothered to clean this up. Overall, a much left to be desired property that will find it hard to compete with major name brands right next door.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. I drove across the country and this was the worst hotel that I stayed in anywhere in the U.S! The laundry, hot tub, ice maker, and refrigerator were out of order. I asked about the ice maker and was told to go to another floor to get it. I got a rash from the bedsheets. It has been several days and the rash will not go away. I would 100% not recommend this hotel to anyone!

They are doing a great job with the renovations. It looks beautiful! If you're a light sleeper or a super picky traveler, I would avoid until the renovations are closer to complete as there is some work noise and amenities are not fully open. It didn't bother us at all. Staff was fantastic! I can't say enough good things about them. They greeted us warmly, checked in frequently to make sure we were happy, and were overall great. Keep doing what you're doing and I'm sure the business will follow!

In OKC on business. Chose this hotel due to proximity to my work site. If there wasn’t a home OU game I would check out and leave but rooms are scarce. From the outside this hotel looks great. Modern, clean and well manicured. The lobby itself is nice, well kept and clean. Then you get in the elevator to another dimension. I was on the third floor. My room was old, felt dirty, in serious need of updating. I will pause here and state that the hotel is renovating but it appears they are just getting started. I had a joined room (not by choice). Couldn’t sleep thanks to the neighbors partying all night. Call the front desk!, you say? Can’t! Phone in the room doesn’t work. Dirty scuffed up walls, multi color lights, hospital size TV. Opened the desk drawer and found old food. God help you if you come during a football game. The halls are littered with people all hours of the night being loud. And there is no and I mean NO, sound barrier. It’s just a loud hotel. Don’t have things shipped here. I had an amazon package that was delivered but no one knows about nor do they care. Got a free breakfast coupon so I got a sandwich and the girl put it in the over. I got it back made it to my car and it was ice cold. This is, Atleast for now, not a good showing by a Marriott property. Will not recommend.
Old dirty rooms

I stayed here one night in August, 2021, room 222. I put my luggage in my room and went to an event. Later that night when I was going to bed, I pulled back the blankets and there was blood on them. I called the front desk and an employee came up to my room. He gave me a keycard to a different room next to this one, room 220. He didn’t even help me move my luggage or offer to get someone to help me. The hotel staff didn’t seem concerned at all, he made me feel like I was a nuisance and this was not a big deal. I think it was gross, how can housekeeping get away with allowing blood stained bedding? So he leaves and I move my things to room 220 which wasn’t much better! Room 220 must have not been cleaned either. The desk was extremely sticky and the carpet had horrible stains. The bathroom was nasty! When I checked out the next morning, I told Alane at the front desk about all this. She apologized and asked me to email her pictures. I doubt they do anything with that email. I got the feeling that this is the normal for this hotel. The entire hotel smells old and musty. I won’t stay here again!
