A few days in Milan
We took this hotel as part of a Wowcher deal, due to Covid it was fairly quiet in Milan but the staff performed well and were very helpful. The hotel was clean and well looked after and breakfast was acceptable considering the times we live in. It may have been 1.5 mile from the city centre but there was an underground stop, within 10 mins walk which was useful for city travel as well as getting us to the airport.
Great stay.
We bought a mystery holiday package and were given Milan and this was our hotel. Although we didnt get a choice in our hotel, we were very happy with here! It is out of the city so a metro journey in is required, but it is a short 8 min walk to the station and cheap underground tickets. Our room was huge and the bed was massive and very comfy! Due to Covid, the breakfast wasnt a buffet but instead we were provided with a mix of continental items and lots of them. Supermarket in the next road too was a great help. A great room, hotel and lovely staff.
Rooms to hot, bad food
Couldn’t sleep as the room was so hot and fed up with bad air. No possibility to open windows. Put the heater down without any significant effect. Evening pizza in the hotel was just disappointing. A blame for Italy. Any frozen product is better.
cool
everything was ok, testy breakfast, good staff, they are always ready for helping you, room was very clean, with comfortable beds, clean bathroom and everything for travelers who wish to have a good rest after walking in a beautiful Milan :)
Well worth a visit
As part of a Wowcher deal, a friend and I had the good fortune of staying in the Best Western Blaine and Francis Hotel. All the staff were polite, welcoming and courteous from arrival through to departure. Check in was slick and we could leave our bags there to go off into Milan ( we had arrived early so our room was not ready). On our return our key card was ready. Our room with the requested twin beds was a really good size. A mini-bar fridge which was useful for milk for our tea / coffee. The room had a kettle. The bathroom was fine with generous towels, toiletries and hairdryer. We paid extra for breakfast ( 10 euros). It was delicious - a buffet style ... from eggs, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt - the crusty bread was so fresh and chunky apricot/ strawberry/ cheery jams were divine. Pastries & cake too. It was 5/10 minutes from the metro but if you have no actual plans then I would say a good walk into Milan but easy if you like walking and would certainly do that when I stay again. I would not hesitate to go again- so much more to see in Milan.
