Booked this hotel as it was good location for me and price was good for single traveller. Requested a room with a balcony and high floor (Good view) and both requests was given. The check in process was really quick and on arrival to the room it’s basic but comfortable. The bed was comfortable and there was a fridge also in the room. The staff was really friendly especially the guy who works the mornings nothing was too much trouble but that is the case for all the staff. Breakfast was small but adequate for what you need. I would definitely return if the price is right again and if you are looking for a good location, friendly staff, clean accommodation this is the place for you.

An average hotel, has all the amenities you need in your room. Rooms are a good size, staff are very friendly and helpful. The price for Milan was really good, the hotel just needs a bit of an update. Good transport links nearby and about 25 minutes walk to the centre. My main priority was to be by the station as I arrived and left by train and visited a different town/city each day. The hotel is just round the corner from the station (less than 5 minutes), but not right on it’s door step which was ideal. There are quite a few bars and restaurants nearby, although this did mean the area wasn’t very quiet on a night
Expected quality for this class

We booked this hotel out of need to be close to the train, as our stay was very short. Like everything in Milan it was expensive for what you got and breakfast was not included in our booked rate we discovered at the end of our stay. The rooms are small but neat. They are renovating the hotel which has made it quite pleasant. It is a very old building with lots of never ending creaks and sounds, which can be a little disruptive if you need sleep / are a light sleeper. Facilities are basic but include a gym and breakfast buffet that will fill you up for the better part of the day. The bed was average for comfort. This is ok for overnight, but if you are planning a longer stay, I recommend spending a little more for something more fancy.
Hotel Mennini: affordable and elegant place to stay

Ciao, travellers! My name is Alex, this is my first trip to Italy and i'm very happy for choosing this hotel as a place to stay. Doesn't matter how large is your room (mine was probably the smallest one😊) but it is always very nice and full of Light. I like curtains, i like chairs (plastic, but stylish!), i like big mirrors in bathroom and always extremely white towels! I travel a lot, trying not to spend a lot of money, so i definitely can appreciate this kind of taking care of clients. For example, kind of talking-for-itself point is the shower cream by Anyah: smells nice, looks nice, totally enviroment-friendly! Such a detail, but also so pleasant, you know! To be honest, not everything is perfect, like the walls are a bit thin. But if you're not gonna stay in your room all day long, it's not so important. Just make sure, nobody will hear you in case of... Well, you know😉 But if you're looking for a taking-care services, thus is definitely the place! I really want the thank the staff: receptionists are definitely well-mannered and kind, and cleaners are very smiley and hospitable. Mi piace Mennini. Have a good luck in your trip!
A wonderful base for exploring - like a second home!

I feel very fortunate to have found this gem of a hotel for my week in Milan. I was looking for a well priced hotel close to the central railway station to take some day trips. This hotel is in fact a very short(easy) walk to the station and is also surrounded by plenty of food and drink options - including a supermarket, bars, street eats plus higher end restaurants. It's also a simple and easy walk to most of the main tourist locations. I had a room on the 5th floor which also had a balcony with table and chairs which was perfect for sitting in the sun with a cup of tea on the morning or spritz in the evening. The room was better than basic and spacious enough. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was fine with plenty of hot water. The aircon worked really well. The staff were fantastic. From the friendly greetings and conversations (morning and night) at the front desk, the server in the kitchen who started to make my coffee when he saw me walk in(after the first day), to the cleaning staff who did nice things like turn on the air-con on the super hot day or open the room for fresh air. This is a nice place and as long as you're not expecting the Ritz you will really enjoy this place and all it has to offer.
