Excellent value all round
We very much enjoyed our stay. Clean, friendly & exceeded our expectations. The swimming pool was a much enjoyed by our young person. The restaurant was brilliant and welcoming. Being able to sit outside whilst eating & drinking by the pool kept us very happy. A very big menu choice. Room was on the cramped side but clean, very comfortable and quiet. Would happily stay again
Friendly and Helpful
Arrived on first day of shutdown and the owner Jake was wonderful. Although the restaurant was closed we were made very welcomed and given the use of plates, knives, forks, glasses etc to eat. Hotel was clean and rooms were good sized. When things are better will be back.
Cevenol Hotel
Good hotel for a short stop over, some rooms have a view of the viaduct albeit in the distance. Staff are friendly and helpful and most speak English, onsite restaurant is very good offering a lunchtime menu and a good evening menu also. Breakfast is very good and the staff keep everything topped up throughout breakfast period. There is a good swimming pool at the hotel. The town centre of Millau is a 10 min walk away. Plenty of onsite parking which is free and there is also a garage for motorcycles if required, also free of charge.
Great room...
We visited on a very warm July evening. The reception and dining areas were very warm. Check in was simple and straightforward. Our room was excellent- great air con and facilities. The shower and toilet areas were also very good. We had a great night’s sleep. Pillows were very firm- my husband has had a sore neck for months and he woke up in no pain whatsoever. Breakfast was perfectly fine. Something to be aware of was that there were a lot of flies about in the reception/ dining/ pool area. There were also many in a town-centre restaurant where we ate - maybe it’s a Millau phenomenon... Or just the heatwave...
Odd mixture
I reserved a "Prestige double room", supposedly larger and therefore more expensive than other double rooms. When we entered the room I was struck at how small it was. I asked the man at the desk about this, and he assured me that this room was what I had reserved. Im no architect, but Im not able to discern a difference in the sizes of the rooms pictured on the fire escape plan. It wouldnt matter except that our room cost more. The menu in the restaurant looked excellent with a huge selection: some dishes were very tasty, others not. The toilet was in a room so tiny that anyone with long legs would have to perfom contortions just to sit down. Room was clean, bed comfortable. No fridge (none advertised), cheap plastic glasses. AC worked well. I would stay there again, but only if i had to.
