I have checked-in yesterday around 4 PM to this hotel for 4 nights. While I was in Check-in line manager was fighting.. yeah literally fighting in loud noise with someone that you have not checked-out on time so you have to pay charge for today and if you want talk to your booking company expedia. She said all this and left and that person was still standing there.. Elevator was dirty, water spilled all over the place. The room I got , door was hell tight and making lot of noise and after entering, bedsheet had all hairs , phone on bed side was not working and stinking , i called using other phone and they came and replaced the bedsheet. I called my booking company and they gave me option to checkout but i was alone without car so told i will be checking out tmrw, i left from hotel and came back around 9, went to restroom it had all piss on pot so i checkout right away as it was difficult to stay there and checked-in to nearby property Hilton. For that hotel charged me $100
They hold a $150 security deposit for a week after you check out!

Do not stay at this hotel if your funds are limited. They did not tell me, and there was no sign, that they take an additional $150, above your hotel charges, as a security deposit and hold it for a week after you've checked out. I'm travelling cross-country and this completely ruins my plans. They said it was in the contract I signed. Who reads that fine print when you're checking in? I called them to try to have it released and the manager said "you should read everything before you sign it." The hotel common areas are nice, but the rooms are small and run-down. My room had a funky smell to it. There are also a lot of homeless people living there due to California's mandate that hotels provide rooms to the homeless during the COVID pandemic. They did not bother me personally, but they spent a lot of time outside the hotel, smoking and socializing.

Location and outside of hotel were great. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Lobby and public areas were well maintained and updated. Rooms were dated and in need of a refurbish, cabinets in kitchen and bathroom had damage and staining. The tiled floors were also stained (grouting). Also saw some ants in the tub area less then 10-15. Toilet seat chipped and deep scratches needed to be replaced and the rubber suction cup bath mat just made it feel like a lower quality hotel. Not worth $232 a night.

Their website said they remodeled their rooms, but my room was not remodeled. It was dingy and faded. The cabinetry was definitely dated. Breakfast was not great, limited options. I usually stay at the Hilton next door, but wanted to see what this place was like. So disappointed. Oh and I didn't get a "suite", my living area and sleeping area were not "separated" as their website states EVERY suite is supposed to be. I'll stick with the Hilton next time I'm around. Oh and they have the nerve to charge $150 for incidentals, and $2.50 for a 16 ounce of generic bottled water!! LOL

I really did want to recommend this place. It has been very convenient while I attend my training. I love the kitchen with a full size fridge. The bed is comfy. However, THERE ARE ANTS EVERYWHERE! One person in our group has moved more than once and each room has ants. Unless management can assure the ant issue is resolved, I would not stay here.
