Happy to Be Back
My husband and I love the Ambassador. We were so happy to see that they were re-opening, that we made a reservation for a night away. After watching a Brewer's game in the bar, we headed out to dinner and then back for a night at the hotel. The room was large and the bed was comfy. Love that they have the Chromecast so we were able to watch some of our Netflix shows.
Nice Hotel Near Marquette Univ.
Very hospitable, 4 stars and very reasonably priced hotel blocks from Marquette U. The staff was great, especially the shuttle drivers Art and Sally. Do not worry if you need to go to downtown or the waterfront, the free shuttle will get you there and back. For breakfast, there is a great, inexpensive restaurant called BroYo a short walk down the street. I highly recommend
Amazing nights
This was the 2nd time that we have stayed here. They have a great shuttle service to the Milwaukee Brewer Games which was easy to use and right across the street from the Rave. A parking ramp is paid but can be done at the front desk for your entire trip for way less than anywhere downtown. The rooms are very classy and comfortable. We have stayed for a bachelorette weekend and a night away with my husband and they were kind and accommodating both times. There is not a fridge though so we had leftovers from our dinner that we had to end up throwing out because they couldn't get put away to keep.
Just a plain small room.
It wasn’t what I expected. One of the hotels I stayed in during my 2 month visit. The rooms have no self service stuff, like a microwave or a small fridge. Rooms are dark but it’s a luxurious hotel in the lobby. Sorry for the review but it’s my personal opinion and experience taking into account that I am not a wealthy person to eat & drink in their fancy restaurants and room service. It’s more for the slightly upper middle class to the mediocre wealthy business people
Not Impressed
The hot water in the vanity area ran all night. Couldn't shut it off. When I pulled the shower curtain shut a dirty washcloth fell down. The Keurig kept tripping the outlet so we had to move it to the other room. The carpeting in the vanity area was very dirty. The sofa bed was frayed and faded.
