Needs Some TLC and Not So Clean
This place is old and tired. It was a Holiday Inn so it's not a typical Americinn like most of us are used to. That is a shame because you can almost always rely on an Americinn in a good way. This motel is not the cleanest plus the carpet in the halls and rooms are terrible ( have not been replaced in years). Also, if you are Covid 19 concerned... Be a little careful! Some off the staff members were not wearing masks! Also, patrons coming and going in the bar area were not wearing masks. I realize that it's difficult to control patrons but just beware. So cleanliness was not the only concern of mine.
Nothing special, average basic hotel.
Older large hotel in I-Falls. The hotel has some age on it, but appears to be in good condition. My room was in decent shape and average cleanliness. COVID breakfast in a bag. They have a restaurant onsite....take a pass on that....I should have. Overall I will probably stay here again when on business in I-Falls.
Pack a lunch
Stopped in on our way to a family vacation in the rain. Looked specifically for a hotel with restaurant. Showed up at 815 and was told the kitchen was closed though the hours said open until 9pm in one place and 10 in another. The waitress gave us directions to Hardee’s when we asked it there was another restaurant nearby. Would skip this place, for $30 more you can go to the gorgeous hotel 8 min away:(
Wonderful grounds, nice staff
We stayed 2 nights in room 119. The staff did not wear masks. Staff were all very friendly. There was no plexiglass window at the front desk but hand sanitizer was available. There is a $25 dog fee per stay. Our room was clean, everything was working and the beds were fine. The room had an INTENSE air freshener smell! I found 2 plastic strips which I believe were air fresheners and even after I threw them out the smell lingered. The ceiling looked like it had some water damage and stains. The hotel was quiet. Our room was near the pool which was closed. We heard some conversation from the room next door and hallway but overall since the hotel was not full it was quiet. A bagged grab and go breakfast was offered which included yogurt, muffin, and granola bar. Coffee and juice were available. The grounds were great! There was a nice lawn to walk the dog off the side parking lot, an area behind the restaurant/bar with benches, and a paved path to the river which had a rocky beach. Please note the path was a little steep. A grocery store and Menards were next door, and the hospital was a block away. There was a walking path at the community college across the street.
Had a great Trip
They work hard at this hotel! We were there for a hockey tournament and there were lots of people checking in and out. breakfast was really nice, the help--everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff, and breakfast lady were very nice and helpful! Our room was clean and ready. Quiet hotel rooms, considering it was almost full.
