Overpriced for zero amenities
Stale muffins for breakfast. No coffee unless you make your own in your room. Pool too busy. Waste of money. Room was clean. Plenty of parking as no one goes here. Bathroom clean. Rude staff do not speak English
Has Covid lodging figured out.
Stayed at four separate hotels during our mini-vacation. This was the only one that checked all the boxes. Staff wore masks at all times and were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. High point was breakfast presentation. The other places we were at only provided a lame breakfast 'to go' bag. Whatever was in the bag is what you got. This location provided a nice selection to put in a bag to go, and also provided a hot breakfast item to go if you chose it (plus a cinamon roll!).
A 10 year old hotel that looks brand new
This was a business trip and the hotel was perfect. It looked brand new and as I was checking out I mentioned that it is a nice new place. The desk staff looked happy as she said it was actually 10 years old. The rooms are very nice, plenty of space and comfy beds. The rest of the hotel is nice, with a small workout area and business center. The breakfast provided is what one expects, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the highway and the main shopping areas of the town. I would recommend staying here!
A decent stay but not extraordinary
The hotel was ... average. Check-in and check-out were ok experiences. Breakfasts (this was just before the pandemic restrictions) were ok but too often the dining area was overcrowded. The room was ok. The king bed had a ridge running down the middle - body indents on either side. The cleaning personnel were sub-par - a few times they rearranged some of our belongings. The closet only had four hangers in it, and when you’re staying for a week this doesn’t quite cut it. I might consider staying here again but there are probably better places in town.
Good stay and spot on staff
My family and I stayed here on a recent Friday night. Checked in a little later at night and was greeted by a very friendly young man who did a great job explaining the hotels amenities and recognizing my Plat status with IHG. Went up to the room top floor and found out he upgraded us to a suite. Nice touch. This is a more modern HIX with a very nice large pool area with kids splash area and huge hot tub. Room furnishings were strangely a bit worn for this being a newer hotel. Breakfast was just fine with a good selection. Location is a bit off the main road but the signage is good so it's easy to see and find. Overall, nice stay we would come back.
