This Residence Inn not up to standard

I stayed two nights and was satisfied with the cleanliness but very disappointed in the breakfast and laundry room. The main item for breakfast is packaged breakfast sandwiches--the ones that come in wrappers to be re-heated in your microwave. Otherwise there was some bread to toast, two or three choices of cold cereal, and a few pieces of fruit. No oatmeal, no big dishes of eggs, sausage or bacon, no waffles. I had some laundry saved up to do but found that the laundry room has some six dryers but only one working washer. Even the selection of TV channels seemed paltry, as though they're saving by offering a narrow range of channels. Will not stay here again--apparently this hotel has gone cheap in a big way.

Just stayed here for 2 nights, it was ok but not great. When we checked in we were given a room across from two loud barking dogs, went back to the desk and was given a different room. I wish I realized that this hotel accepted pets or i would not have booked it. Our room was big and spacious but it either smelled musty or like a dog had been sleeping on the bed. The sleeper sofa had no linens and we were only given 2 towels and we booked a room for 3 people. The lady in the breakfast area was super nice. I don't think we will be back. There are better options in the area. I am a Marriott rewards member but was disappointed w this stay,
Smallest rooms ever for RI
Reviewed 23 august, 2021
This RI has the SMALLEST rooms I have ever been in! We had 3 suit cases , 1 gym bag and a small plastic bin and had to put the desk chair in the hall over night to fit these into the rm. The desk chair faces the wall so the door will open, for people who know RI they will understand that statement. Let me say I’m Lifetime Titanium Elite with over 100 stays between RI & Townplace this year and have never had to put furniture in the hall overnight. Otherwise it is an ok place. The doors on the closet are stuck in place - maintenance issue. The checkin was smooth, nice to see the clerk adhering to COVID suggestions, especially with COVID rise. Will stay try HOME2 Suites next door next time I came through town. Sorry Marriott.
Just an ok Stay

We are loyal Marriott people when we travel. The front desk staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious. We had a two bedroom suite and stayed for four nights. The bath tubs and bath sinks didn't drain properly and the one bedroom had a musty smell. Trash cans are too small, especially in the kitchen. During Covid when rooms aren't being serviced everyday, it's a problem. The hotel is in a good location and close to many restaurants. Also, not far off the highway. Overall, I would say this property isn't up to the Marriott standard we are accustomed to.
Two Excellent Experiences at the Residence Inn in South Bend Mishawaka, Indiana

During our travels to Ohio we stayed at the Residence Inn in South Bend Mishawaka, Indiana on our way to Ohio and on our way back to Wisconsin. We really enjoyed both of our nights at the hotel. Our room was outstanding with a full kitchen area and a shower with a chair. The breakfast menu was also excellent. The entire staff was excellent.
