Lobby is bright and clean with a Starbucks. While aesthetically its nice, rooms are very small for one person and quite pricey. Front desk guy was slow and lost and made my check in process a nightmare. Elevators are key carded which is a real pain and bizarre for a hotel in a residential neighbourhood. As well if you order take out you have to go down to get it, which defeats the purpose of ordering delivery, Hotel is near square one and many other amenities, which is a huge plus. I don't really recommend as there are better hotels at 401 and diixie and a taxi to the area isn't much.
Uncooperative & hostile front desk staff on November 13-2021

I arrived Toronto today at 7 am on a business trip for only two days. I had booked at the hotel and i totally understand that check in time is 15:00 pm. However, i stopped by the hotel at 10 am and asked if the room was vacant and available it would be nice if they could let me in & clarified that i have just arrived from a 13 hours flight. The answer was a blunt NO, however the room was available and if i’d like to access it earlier i have to pay 50$ extra. I politely thanked them and went for a nearby cafe for some coffee. Came back at 3:00 pm to check in, i hd already paid my booking online through booking.com and only had my debit card with me. They refused to check me in without a credit card for security deposit. I offered to pay in cash but again they refused. She bluntly asked my to figure something out -call a friend or borrow any credit card !!!!!! I clarified that i was coming for a business trip just for a couple if days and that i had no friends in Mississauga at the moment. Again they refused to check me in. They said the booking is nonrefundable so even if i cant access the room they wont refund me anything, and still they wont allow me into the room with a cash or a debit card for security deposit. I called some friend that I hadn’t called in years and asked him for this favor. He was very helpful to come and save the day, but couldnt make it to the hotel before 6 pm. ANY RESPECTABLE HOTEL WOULD HAVE LET A GUEST WHO HAS FULLY PAID FOR THEIR ROOM IN. THEY COULD HAVE TAKEN THE DEBIT CARD I OFFERED AND LET ME USE THE ROOM TILL MY FRIEND ARRIVES. Again they refused. They are making me sit at the lobby for yet another 2 hours.!!! This could be the most horrible check in experience i have every gone through. To the very unhelpful front desk employees Ms. Louinah & Ms. Lilly. You made it quite clear that you unwelcome ur guests. You’ve taken staff inflexibility to new levels. Never staying at this hotel again & will share my reviews on all platforms

Excellent stay. Was here numerous times and every time great experience. The front desk staff amazing. The lady and 2 gentleman are simply amazing. Saif especially. They can help you find a restaurant and anything else you need. Really great customer service.
You can depend on this Delta hotel by Marriott for a great stay.

I stay at this hotel several times per year for business. It is always quiet, clean and very friendly and helpful staff, I particularly wish to mention Narciso Cruz... The breakfast on the floor was fresh and they had a good variety of foods to start off my day right.

A family commitment resulted in a busy 2-week period where we used the hotel as a stable, reliable base. A safe haven to return to in the evenings, a sound nights sleep, and a fresh start to each day made for a successful visit. The only glitch was a drunken guest on our floor at 0400. Despite the disturbance, the night manager dealt with a tricky situation quickly and effectively - no mean feat! All of the staff were friendly and helpful, led by the very polite and authoratitive manager, Patricia Ritchie. A good gym, an on-site covered car park (extra charge), a co-located Starbucks and an ideal location sealed the deal. We’ll be back.
