A few pros and a few cons

We arrived for a quick one night stay and were checked in early. As a Plat member the front desk clerk made no mention and was so scripted it was funny. She never lifted her head once to look at me while speaking. lol, It wasn't a very warm welcome but no big deal. It has been a while since I stayed here and they have done an excellent job on the renovations! The hotel looks and feels totally different. Our room was facing the opposite of the tarmac which I was hoping for but I didn't bother asking. We put our stuff away and relaxed a little. We then went down to the lounge (both wearing our LA Rams shirts as I am huge Rams fan and they were on Thursday night football) We sat ourselves in the lounge and I think there might have been 3 other tables with singles sitting there and one other couple. I will admit the service in here was horrible to say the least. We sat there for probably 5 minutes with the bartender staring at us but no waitress. Finally a waitress came and she said sorry "I was just getting caught up chatting with my co-worker back there?". Ok whatever we were thirsty and was happy someone finally came. My wife asked for a certain wine on the menu and she immediately said no, we don't have that but just order this one (can't remember the name) it's almost the same price. Well, I guess if $7.00 more a glass is the same price! My wife said well I don't think $7.00 more is the same price. Anyway the waitress I guess thought we were cheap and she kind of rolled her eyes. So the wife got a glass of that and I am very simple - I wanted a cold bottled beer and ordered a Budweiser. LMAO. When I ordered that I guess the waitress was put off because I wasn't ordering a fancy cocktail. Ok. The order is in and we received our drinks. It was nice to just relax and unwind. We were done our first drink and again sat there for 10 minutes with empty glasses and I couldn't see her anywhere. Finally I got up and went to the bar and asked her if we could please get a couple more drinks. She responded as to "where is your waitress?"..I said very good question we have been waiting hence why I am asking you. She says well I will have to go find her. She comes back a few minutes later and says I have no idea where she is. She get's us another drink. It's too bad because we would have blown much more money on the expensive alcohol but were happy to leave after the second one. We would not have stayed for the game anyway because none of the TV's were working. We checked out the Club Lounge which is marvelous with a great variety of options. I would say one the best spreads that I have seen in a very long time for Canadian/ USA hotels.......nowhere near Asia spreads but pretty decent. The staff in the Club Lounge were very inviting and provided excellent service. We ended up buying some more drinks in there.... If you want to drink here or just have a couple each (which is just a tease! :)) be prepared to drop $70.00. BTW... I was so angry at myself that I actually left a tip for the waitress in the hotel regular lounge. I just signed my bill and did the usual out of habit but she didn't deserve a dime. Nonetheless, they did a great job on the renovations, very convenient, decent rooms and a great Club Lounge. For those reasons I would recommend it.

This hotel is so convenient being in Terminal 3 at the airport. Quick easy train link to other terminals. Check in and out were both pleasant and efficient. Club lounge was a real highlight. Food options hot and deliscious. Highly recommend
Good location, high cost

Conventiently located in Terminal 3. Very posh, nice standard, good rooms & comfy beds. It is expensive, you pay for convenience, but staff is helpful - I was given Sheraton club access for free on my stay, since the restaurant was not open for breakfast early in the morning (at 05:30 to catch my flight).
A very comfortable one-nighter

Airport hotels are places to stay on the way to somewhere else and this one fills that bill very well. Perfection eludes it but the convenience of being annexed to the airport T3 easily forgives the miner shortcomings that we observed. We have stayed at other Toronto airport hotels but this one bests them all on that count alone. The good: The front desk staff were helpful and professional. Our twin-queen standard room was modern, spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and adequately appointed for a one-night layover. Everything expected was there and it all worked as expected. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows cloud soft and the linens plush. The décor is modern chain hotel vanilla. The bathroom was modern, well-appointed, had good lighting and the plumbing mostly worked well. The not so good: there was no refrigerator in the guest room and for reasons not immediately evident, even moderately vigorous showering managed to drench the bathroom floor. We only stayed for a night so we didn’t bother to investigate why.

we stayed here on the night before our flight and it was the best decision i have made. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and outgoing. we did order room service and i ordered poutine and they forgot to put gravy on it. (who does that) so that was weird. but they did make it right as soon as we called. other then that, our stay was great, check in and out went very smoothly. anytime i travel from Toronto this will be my go to airport. Thanks for the great stay, but next time please remember the gravy :-)
