Welcoming Stay
Delightful place to stay for our annual trip to Marshall. Hotel goes above and beyond to be welcoming with top notch service and a comfortable stay. Convenient location and really good amenities, best place to stay.
Quick Trip Through Missouri
We arrived very late, but the desk clerk greeted us with a smile and ensured we had a room. The room was oddly configured. There was a hot tub in the corner of the room with an oddly placed window with an indirect view of a wall and the parking lot. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The room was large and easy to move around in. The shower/toilet were in a separate room the size of a broom closet. There was nice hot water that was barely contained by the shower curtain and spilled onto the floor. The breakfast was good. Individually plastic wrapped fruit seemed a bit unnecessary. But I'm glad they are taking precautions here. I'm sure the hot eggs were acceptable, but we were in a hurry. The check out was quick once we found the clerk. Overall, a nice quiet place to stay while travelling. Don't get there too late or they will cancel your room. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you find yourself crossing Missouri. On a side note, the roses in their landscape were incurably diseased with rose rosette.
Little Sleep
Hotel was clean and polite staff, however it was very noisy throughout the night. We stayed on a Friday night and our room was on the second floor right over the lobby/breakfast area. There was a group of people talking and giggling until 3 am and a tv blaring after that in the lobby/breakfast area. Avoid rooms near that area!
Covid-19 Precautions
The hotel really seems to take Covid-19 precautions. There are plastic sheets between the reception desk and guest. I saw the staff repeatedly spray surfaces. The staff was nice. The hotel is attractive. The pool is located next to the lobby. It was a large rectangle, otherwise nondescript. The rooms were fine. Breakfast is a bit different due to Covid-19--fruit is wrapped, selections are pre-determined or staff accesses them. Some selections are not available. Nice place to stay.
In MO for a cladd
This place is very clean, we had 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. My only complaint was there wasn’t an armchair and ottoman in the room, just 2 dining room style chairs in the room. The breakfast is typical for a hotel chain, the price was reasonable. We would stay there again.
