The best B&B's in western Montana

Truly enjoy our visit to the Bitterroot B&B. The owners, Kevin and Heather were awesome hosts and the inn was impeccable. Great view of the mountains and the breakfast was incredible; served with fresh eggs from their chickens and local ingredients. Kevin's knowledge of the area gave us a great opportunity to see some hidden gems in Montana.

The inn was gorgeous with amazing views! The owners provided details on places to go and things to see. Breakfast was delicious! We will definitely return! The views from the porch were delightful. They have a horse, dogs, goats, chickens, and an outside cat!

49th Wedding Anniversary Surprise

Our two-night stay at Bitterroot River B&B was simply wonderful. The fireplace in our room was on, beautiful flowers on our dresser. Views of deer, Sandhill Cranes, ducks, chickens, goats and a sweet horse made us feel transported far from any town...and yet, being right on the river, we could still walk to town after a morning fish. Our breakfasts were farm to table fresh, in a warm windowed room with breathtaking views of Montana. Our hosts were warm, friendly and wonderful. We look forward to return stay.

Amazing bed and breakfast!

We stayed in the Bitterroot room and it was fantastic! The hosts thought of everything to make our stay very comforting. The views are amazing! The breakfast was hot, tasty and filling! The blueberry muffins were delicious. The coffee delivered to the room at 730am (no knock, just left outside the door) was awesome! Heather was one of the most friendly and down-to-earth person we've met at B&B's. The bed was very comfortable. The temperature was perfect. Jumping into the jetted tub before going to dinner was SO relaxing. The artwork scattered around the house was neat to look at, especially the Sapphire Mtn. sunrise mural that their daughter had painted on an entire wall! There was another couple who had stayed there while we were there (on the other side of one of the walls) and we couldn't hear them which was good. The smart TV was nice to have so that we could play music. WHY would anyone want to stay in a hotel in the Missoula or Bitterroot Valley areas, when there is such a homely place like this???
