Very disappointing
This is the worst Accor hotel we have ever stayed in and we are Accor members. With the exception of the morning receptionist and the cleaners service was poor. The hotel smelt odd, the rooms and common parts in need of decoration although clean. The dining room in particular needs upgrading and breakfast was not a great experience with cold coffee from the machine and food stocks low. We arrived down just after 9 and breakfast didn’t finish until 10.00am but we had to ask for scrambled egg and water for boiled eggs. There was only one man on service in the restaurant and he wasn’t there when we arrived. It feels like a business being run on a shoe string. Annoyingly it was the most expensive hotel of our trip down through France. Thank goodness all the others were Novotel’s and thoroughly reliable.
Right in the Thick of Things!
This was a very nice hotel despite the serious demolition work going on by it. You won't need an alarm in the am. The staff was very accommodating staff throughout our stay especially with suggestions for safe parking. The room I had was spacious with a queen size bed, super deep bathtub and separate toilet. We had a group of 6 people at dinner and everyone managed to eat quite well, even with a vegetarian and a fish eater. It is a lovely walk to get to the central square that was pretty active on a Monday evening. The arches surrounding the Place Nationale are exquisite. Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption is facing all of the construction but a must to visit. Breakfast was varied with many delicious options.
Very good hotel in the city centre
Hotel in a very old but well maintained building in the centre of Montauban. Parking at reduced rate is offered by the hotel in a parking garage in front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious with a good working desk and excellent wifi. The restaurant offers good dinners at an moderate price and a very good breakfast. Staff at the desk is friendly and helpful.
A lovely place to unwind
Visited last week & booked the spa package which was amazing. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat too. Rooms were extra large & very comfortable. We also had dinner in the courtyard & thoroughly enjoyed that experience too.
Very nice Hotel.
Every time in Montauban I stay in Mercure hotel. Good location and parking close to the hotel. Clean room and very good breakfast. City center in 2 minutes walking. Restaurant serve good meals. Wonderful view from the room.
