Apparently the maid read Do Not Disturb as Knock On Door or Wake Up Guest. I had notified the front desk of a late check-out at 2PM. Being a diamond club member, it is one of the perks. While sleeping at 12:15, there is a knock on the door. I got woken up by the maid. She asked ME if I notified the front desk about late check-out. Maybe SHE should check with the front desk before knocking on a door that had DO NOT DISTURB on it. Because of being woken up, I will never stay at this property again. Also, it's time to change the carpet.

And we did at the front desk...through our masks. Great conversations with Franco and Anita and always ready to help with any problems. There were no problems. A clean spacious room. We were next to the elevators but heard nothing. With Covid changing the landscape, the on-site restaurant (Grafitti's) was closed but there are many delivery options with one restaurant within walking distance. A Costco less than 2 kilometers away (by car) is another plus. Next to the highway but like the elvators, this room is soundproof. I recommend this property. Reservations on-line have better rates. Don't forget to ask about the CAA/AAA discount for members.

Found staff not very friendly or efficient at check-in. As a lone female traveller, I am sensitive about safety and security. in hotels. So when the agent handed me my keys and blurted out loud my room number in front of a line-up of people, I was very disappointed. Great, I thought., About half an hour later, I received a call from a man saying only hello several times. It turned out it was the front desk agent who clumsily called to check how things were. A proper greeting identifying himself would have been appropriate. Staff need training on being welcoming and courteous. As for the room, everything average except for coffee which was the worst I've ever tasted. Restaurant was closed for dinner. TV system is outdated. Location is good. Parking ok. I will not be returning.

Stayed over night while in Montreal with family. Nice and clean. Mattress are very firm, a lot more than our usual, Not what I expected. Still clean quiet hotel. Services were limited, Christmas day. No restaurant, was closed. Secured parking no very user friendly, but available. Located beside highway, easy to access once you figure out the best way.
