We arrived with family from another hotel which was a horrible experience.
When I entered I was amazed at the cleanliness and bright attitude of the people here.
Laura the manager was a great help, and totally changed our day for the better.
During our extended stay all of the staff have an excellent attitude and constantly people are working on the property to ensure all is upkept.
I would recommend this hotel to any who ask. Excellent

Came to Akron to see a play. The hotel was very close to the venue. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Decent breakfast in the morning and the weather was nice so we could sit outside. It’ very close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Very friendly staff. I would stay here again.
Above average Fairfield Inn

We are surprised with some of the reviews of this Fairfield Inn...our stay there was terrific. We stay at Fairfields often when we travel and we found this one to be better than most. The welcome was warm and helpful, the room was big and immaculate and, overall, we were very happy with our night there. We had no problem with road noise and, in fact, there was a large group of teens with parents in town for some kind of activity and we heard very little from them! Breakfast was what you would expect but the large dining area was bright and clean and invited us to stay awhile. We highly recommend this Fairfield Inn.
Amazing Staff, Clean Rooms, Adequate Breakfast, Noisy AC only Bummer

Starting with the young lady at check in, the staff was wonderful. The next morning when I asked if they had decaf at breakfast, Amy was a real sweetheart and made a pot for me! She made sure each morning that a pot of decaf was available, and I really appreciated that! Kudos to Amy.
Unfortunately the AC unit made this high pitched whining noise. When I mentioned it Friday morning, the staff was apologetic and had Mike, the maintenance person, check it out for us. He was awesome. He came to the room and tightened something which made the noise disappear. Unfortunately, whatever he tightened came loose again and the noise returned. This was in no way Mike's fault, he was SO apologetic for the situation and truly tried his best. We were in room 210, hopefully one of the new units he said were on order can be placed there.
The breakfast was adequate, and Amy kept the area spotless.
Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you to the entire staff for their kindness and attention.
HOTEL STAFF STEAL - BEWARE!

I made the mistake of staying at this place for 2 nights and accidentally leaving a family heirloom dress behind on the bed. I called back several times to see if the cleaning staff retrieved it, I was told the hotel "didn't have it." I know for 100% fact that it was there. When you check into a hotel you expect your items will be safe and not finders keepers by the hotel staff. To make the issue worse, the girl front desk agent I spoke to that night literally laughed at me when I tried to explain what happened. I am so upset and saddened to have this piece stolen by the cleaning staff. The managers don't seem to care or want to take any action and are just letting it happen under their noses.
In addition, there was an overwhelming chemical/perfume smell that hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. It was awful. If you are asthmatic, I would avoid this place altogether. We also found a long hair sitting on the window sill which made me want to leave then and there. If this wasn't the only room available in the area at the time, we would have left this place. Wish I listened to my gut instinct and avoided this hotel.
