I have experienced worse lodgings but this one is definitely on my do not return list. As to the property itself, there are multiple stains on the hallway carpets, the lobby was unusually warm (like the A/C was off), and there was either mold or mildew stains on the soap dish in the shower. The walls in the hallway are in need of repainting. Our first room had non-working air conditioning. The host was going to have us remain in the room until I pushed to get a new one. This same male host did not look professional - he had long, shaggy hair and an unkempt beard. At 9:30 pm, he called our room asking where the signed copy of our check in agreement was. Uh, I signed it and gave it to you at the front desk when we checked in. "Are you sure?' he asked. "Because I really need it.' Besides all that, he told us he always takes the stairs because he does not trust the elevator. You have been warned.
Glad we prepaid and reserved via a travel app.

After a long drive we arrived after 7pm. This was a little out of our way, but while at a rest area in NC, this hotel was only one we could get 2 Queen beds. I prepaid and booked via one of my travel apps. Good thing, as we arrived, another family was arguing that they made a reservation but they no longer had a room. I don't know full story, but the person at check in told me good thing I prepaid. The hotel seemed to be sold out as there was a party staying there and they were all heading out to some sort of event. The 3rd floor hallway smelled like cigarette smoke which I thought we were on a non-smoking floor. We were looking for a nice quiet sleep, but the folks staying on the 4th floor above us, had kids who were running around late. We turned the a/c on which made a steady noise to drown out the stomping of feet above. I got what I paid for--could have used a hot breakfast which was not offered, we hightailed it out after 6:30 am to continue our travels.

Stayed in this hotel last night (6/14 to 6/15/2021) and was less than impressed. Checked in after midnight and first room given had latch on door. Attendant had no one to help, so assigned another room. Got up to other room, now key didn't work. Went back to desk 3rd time, after waiting for attendant to return back....she walked us to room and got us in. Room was meh. Shower had mildew (see photos). Less than impressed. Bed was OK. Not thinking I would hit this again.

The hotel was ok. Folks at the front desk were nice along with maintenance guy. There was a mix up when checking in that sent me to 3 different rooms and took almost an hour to fix. Was put in a room next to the lobby and the elevator. Got no sleep for 2 nights. The AC in the room goes off by itself and the room gets hot during the night. There was plenty of hot water and water pressure which was nice. Parking lot is small and very tight. Loved to small kitchen and full sized fridge.
OK ... But Not as Good as Previous Visits

We have been there a couple off times over the last 3 years. We got a good night's sleep, with no noises heard ... this was the most important thing. The beds were clean and the bathroom too. There were furniture nicks, scratches and dents ... and a chunk taken out of bah door (some repair was attempted). Did not seem to be as clean, overall, as the last visits. It appeared that employees did the right thing by wearing masks, keeping proper distance, etc. They were very polite. TV was a bit hard to use.
