Average hotel, good food, little outdated
We spend a weekend at this hotel. The hotel is little outdated and need renovation in next few years. Food is good and tasty. We had half-board and the choice of food was good. We were in time of holiday so hotel was full and in restaurant you need to wait for table in rush time. Personnel were friendly.
Half of the rooms in the hotel are without balcony and of course I should have asked for one if I wantey one they said at the reception. How in the world could I have known that since no one mentioned at the time of reservation. So with two little children and no balcony to just open a space a little bit... Rooms are olderly furnished but well kept. They are pretty clean. The great thing about the hotel is that it has its own pool and is also connected with Terme 3000 with a long hallway so there is no need to go out which I guess is especially convenient during winter. Staff is polite and that is all you can expect. Food tasty, wide variety of choices, kids especially liked fresh baked pancakes at breakfast. Overall it is an average accomodation but a bit overpriced.
Average hotel with good food
We spend a weekend at this hotel - everything was ok, nothing to complain about. The hotel is good but not excellent - you can tell that it is old but everything is kept in good condition. We had half-board and the choice of food was excellent, especially the breakfast. I had the feeling that 70 percent of hotel guests were Austrian or German pensioners and everything is adjusted to them. My only criticism is that the prices for drinks at the the hotel restaurant are way too high for Slovenian standards, e.g, 7 euros for 2dcl of wine or 3,80 for a bottle of beer. But all in all it was a nice experience.
Unfortunately I cannot say anything about the rooms in the hotel because we stayed in bungalows managed by the hotel. When we stayed in the hotel a couple of years ago, the rooms were slightly below the 4* standard. But I can certainly compliment on the food. There was a vast choice for breakfast as well as dinner (we had lunch at the hotel Ajda and it was also great). Everything was fresh and nicely cooked, so that we ate more than we should. Our 10-year old grand-daughter enjoyed the meals as well.
a nice hotel but very old
the hotel is average , most of the staff there they do not speak english , very old hotel , average rooms and clean rooms, it is good to spend couple of days there in hot weather and enjoy the water sports
