Sleek, modern, nicely appointed, makes a “oooh” impression when you enter, particularly because of the laminate wood floors and the size. My husband reserved a room online for us, an “accessible” room for $119 (+taxes). It was a suite with a sofa, two large TV monitors, table chairs. Large. Nice. The bathroom was awesome with a high toilet and a double head shower, the bottom one was removable for our lower regions (😁 just like home). For us seniors, this was a great room. Space (a bench and the sofa) to open our luggage without having to bend over, large hooks to hang jackets or other clothing, in addition to a small closet. It had the usual amenities, coffee, frig, microwave, all at heights that are easy on your back. Average toiletries (lotion, shampoo). But a real bargain. What I would have liked: better lighting in the bathroom and a night light. Surprised that an accessible room did not provide lighting. Fortunately I carry a flashlight. It came in handy! Even though there are hundreds of good restaurants in the area, we were reluctant to venture out after dark in the traffic. We ended up eating at the bar downstairs and had a great time talking to the friendly hostess and people at the bar. Corn and crab soup, fried green tomatoes, fancy hamburgers hit the spot. Don’t expect a view of the Charleston skyline, however, unless you upgrade your room! We got to look out at the storage shed, trash cans, and Rt. 17 intersection! But for one night’s stay, it didn’t matter. We would stay here again.

When we checked in the staff was so friendly, they made us feel right at home. The hotel was very clean and smell like it as well. I would recommend staying at this hotel I your going to stay on Mount Pleasant, SC.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel that is located in a tremendous area. The staff, rooms and amenities are the best. Smiling faces and a truly welcoming atmosphere was felt through out our stay! Definitely would recommend!!

Worst hotel experience ever

It was a horrible experience. Check-in took 20 minutes. There was only one attendant and he was super slow. We weee hoping to get a drink but the bar/restaurant was closed even though they advertised as open. There wasn’t a manager on-site and then they charged us with random damages that we did not make. We are still waiting for the manager to call us back after 2 days. Do not stay there!!

This is not a 3 star hotel. They barely qualify for 2 stars. Their restaurant and bar were closed and dark with zero explanation from the staff. Haven’t tried Choice Brand in a long time. This will be the last time for me. This hotel has stained the brand. For reference I spend about 150 nights a year in hotels.
