If you want to stay in a hotel with swimming pool, spa, bars and restaurants, then it might be a good idea to look at places in Badenweiler, about 5 Km down the road from here. However, if you want a very comfortable small hotel on the edge of town offering peace and quiet, with views over the vineyards and a very good breakfast, then this is the best choice. We need a room with easy access for someone with mobility issues, so asked for a room on the ground floor----unnecessary because , although it is not a large hotel, it does have a lift. On check-in we were offered a standard room, or for a small extra cost a higher grade room. No contest. !1 The room we chose was obviously very recently renovated and from what I saw, other rooms were also recently renovated. Our room was simply, but very tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and comfortable chairs and desk. The bathroom was superb with a huge walk-in shower. There was also an entrance lobby with wardrobes and plenty of room for luggage. Being on the edge of town , the room was totally quiet at night, except for the damn cockerel which woke up at 6 am. Outside there is a terrace with tables and chairs leading onto a large garden. The end of October is not the best time to take advantage of this but I can imagine in summer, it would be lovely. As mentioned earlier, there is very nice breakfast, but there is no restaurant for evening meals , nor is there a bar or cafe for something during the day. There are numerous good restaurants within a 5-10 min drive. Prices are very reasonable. Would I stay there again?----definitely.

Haus Friede is a family run inn, whose members are greatly attentive to their guests. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and reasonably priced. However, it's the grounds where you'll spend your time. Their terrace overlooks rolling vineyards, over which their was a spectacular sunset. Their complimentary breakfast is fresh and generous. Vogisheim is a super quaint town, just minutes from the larger Mullheim. Strolling Vogisheim streets brought little surprises at every turn.

At the outermost tip of the Black Forest with a view into the Rhine valley. Wonderful quiet and rural atmosphere. If you want to relax, you are right here. A very family run hotel with authentic restaurant. The dishes are cooked with love. I definitely recommend the Guedel soup. All dishes are homemade dishes and of very good quality. Enjoy the secluded, quiet location at the southern tip of the Black Forest. From here you can go hiking and discover the Markgräflerland.

Schön gelegen, sehr ruhig. Und die gesamte Anlage super gepflegt. Hatte schon das zweite Zimmer und an beiden war nicht's auszusetzen. An den Toiletten sieht man schon wie sauber ein Hotel ist ,hier ist alles Tip Top. Ausserdem wird auf Anfragen sofort geholfen wenn es geht. Gesamtes Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann es wirklich nur weiter empfehlen.

Im Haus Friede wird GASTFREUNDSCHAFT im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes großgeschrieben. Dank des Engagements des Hotelbetreibers hat es uns während des 3-tägigen Aufenthalts an nichts gefehlt. Das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich.
