Fantastic for Families

Hilton has always been our brand preference when traveling for business. Since having children, we have not found ourselves looking for Hilton Hotel brands when we travel, as we never saw them as family friendly. However, in Munich, we knew it would be for one evening so we booked the two rooms required for our family size. Typically when we arrive with four children, even at the most family friendly hotels, there are challenges. But at the Hilton last week, there were none. The desk staff engaged with them and alerted them (after checking in with the parents) to the scavenger hunt throughout the lobby area. It was wonderful to have the children off on an adventure while the parents started the check in process and were able to have a drink while getting settled. Even more, the desk staff gave each child a ticket for their own (non alcoholic of course) drink and a small treat that made each child feel very welcomed and cared for. No where did the children appear to be an inconvenience or burden. Even the restaurant, which had exceptional food, had a menu with children friendly sizes and served the children first. While Hilton is known as a brand for business travel, we now know it is super for families too.

Very Good Stay

As a Hilton Honors member I wanted to stay at a Hilton property. Chose Hilton Munich Park for the proximity to the English Garden, love a room with a view. Did not disappoint. Stayed 7 nights on 14th floor in a large room overlooking the park. Full balcony was a plus although the weather was not conducive for hanging out nor was there seating (not sure if chairs are put out in better weather months). Room had plenty of space, mini fridge, outlets for charging devices. Check in was a breeze. Wasn't able to check in earlier than advertised but that was ok. Had a leisurely breakfast in the Tivoli Restaurant. Lovely view of the Eisbach River through floor to ceiling windows. Buffet was offered with Covid protocols in place, ample variety that didn't change much day to day but all was tasty. As usual with warming plates, not enough heat to keep warm items warm enough. There is a person making omelettes daily. Staff was attentive and very friendly. On Dec 5, St Nicholas Day, one of the wait staff handed out chocolates to celebrate. Peoples Bar was a dinner option, limited menu but food was tasty. The Executive Lounge was closed due to Covid restrictions but a separate side area of the restaurant was used instead. Hours and seating limited unfortunately but it was nice to have that option. Location was about 40 min from airport by S bahn train 8/taxi, 20 min from Hauptbahnhof by tram 16. Local bus stop outside of hotel connects to another bus/tram to city center, I think, did not use. Restaurants, grocery stores nearby, walk or bus/tram. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will return in the future.

Friendly staff, furthermore staff at breakfast was excellent. Assortment of food very good. Large rooms and nice view but show their age. Cleanness of room need a bit of work on details. Overall a very nice stay and excellent location.

Located near the English garden, our room was not so big, if we consider the price I can say that this is an expensive hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is reach. For business is ok

Very nice and sympatic staff, clean and tidy rooms, very nice foods , close to the city center and free parking.Generally all personnel is very kind and helpful. We had supposed like we are at home…..
