We have had a wonderful experience staying here. The staff have all been absolutely lovely with nothing too much trouble. The room was fantastic, the club lounge very good for tea and drinks and snacks in the evening. It has been a wonderful start to our holiday and we will definitely come to stay again. Special thanks to Sean
Great stay again, fantastic staff!

This was our second stay at the Sofitel Heathrow Terminal 5. First was our last time we flew before COVID-19 hit and this recent visit was our first time flying again since. We had no hesitation booking again as we had a great experience last time and have to say this time was even better. It starts off well with the underground parking, perfect for leaving the car in a secure location before going away. The staff at check-in are friendly and efficient and manage the queue brilliantly at a very busy time. We had dinner in the bar which was very nice indeed and also breakfast in the main restaurant. Breakfast for me is a highlight, the chap that cooks the eggs at the theatre kitchen is such a character and really brightens up the morning. The room was well appointed and clean. On return, it was a quick walk back to the Sofitel from T5, straight down the lift to our car and away. The only minor criticism we can make is the shower in the room did leak under the door a bit so we had to use towels to stop it (not a huge problem) and the bed was a little uneven but we still slept well. Will be returning next time we fly from T5.
What bar doesn't serve Bacardi?

I loved this Hotel and have stayed on 3 occasions. Clean, comfortable rooms and lovely staff but every time we go we are informed they don't serve Bacardi white rum, only Havana Club which is a dark rum! Surely this has to be the only Hotel in the World that doesn't serve it and it's always my go to drink! Even the club lounge doesn't have it either. Otherwise, perfect for an overnight!
Lack of focus.

Stayed three times in recent months and ideal for Terminal 5 although not a major problem getting to terminal 5 from hotels at Terminal 2/3 it must be said. Rooms comfortable and clean. Staff always polite and friendy. My latest booking (through Accor) involved an early check-in due to an overnight flight . I reserved a classic room with a Queen sized bed. Admittedly, I arrived at the hotel about 8 but was told a twin room available. Not acceptable to me and advised I would wait until 9 for the room I reserved. Not sure me checking in solo has any bearing on being offered a twin room which seemed the suggestion. I booked and paid for a queen sized bed which cost nearly £250. Was then offered upgrade to a King which I accepted on the mistaken assumption this was a double bed. The room was a twin. The person who checked me in was very polite/professional and appeared to be supervised which is absolutely fine. No slight whatsoever on them - my annoyance is with others. Funnily enough the person supervising removed themselves away from the counter when it came to the server telling me only a twin room available. Not impressed at all. The breakfast was excellent and very well organised. The chefs were cheerful and made me feel very welcome.
Ignore complaints and kept awake

The hotel is lovely inside but the customer service is terrible. We stayed for one night (and paid extra for car parking) for a special 15 year wedding Anniversary .....and wish we hadn't. Before arrival they ignored an email from me asking if I could book in at dinner. When we got there we were told there was only one slot left which was when the restaurant opened its doors and we had to take that. The bar wasn't cheap either £15 ish for a small cocktail, although we understand its London. Room was quite nice and it had a great bed which was a plus. About 11.30pm the banging started and carried on through the night. It kept me and then my husband awake until we checked out early! It was ( husband guessed ) the pipes/plumbing. It came from above the door and could be heard along the wall and up the bath plug. I even videoed the noise to show them. I have emailed in now twice to Accor (their parent body) and Accor says the complaint has been passed on but I have heard nothing, so we are basically being ignored! For the price you pay you expect to at least get a good night sleep. The car parking we can't fault. The hotel seemed lovely so we are just so disappointed as we will can't get that time again to celebrate our anniversary.
