Please do not stay here the only thing that is positive is it’s location. It’s way over priced for the amenities that are 30 years old and the hot tub spa is simply a storage room for the past three years.
It's far worse than any Motel 6

I drove a long distance to get here and I when checking in I asked if I could use the restroom. They pointed out the restroom just down the hall from the front desk. It was beyond filthy with human feces on the toilet seat and the floor. I told them about it and they just said they'd clean it later. So I had to "hold it" until I got in the room. The room was not clean. There was human hair in the sink, on the toilet, in the shower. So when this happens I always check the bed spread, and sure enough you pull it back and it's badly stained, not clean and you can see that on it's opposite side, the underside of the bed spread. Then you check the pillows by looking inside and sure enough the pillow cases were clean but the pillow was not. I bring my own pillow. I was afraid to check the mattress. I never go barefoot in a place like this as your feet will end up black, I decided not to test it. Lastly people burn driftwood on the beach and the smoke comes in the room. It was by far one of the worst Hotel's I've ever stayed at.
It’s all about location

We knew when booking this place that it wasn’t a 5 star resort. We were more interested in the beach location, which is lovely. It also could be one of the only pros to the whole place. As others have said, it’s pretty run down. We thought the bed were ok. Lots of pillows. The rooms have ceiling fans, which was nice due to no AC. The furniture isn’t great but our view was lovely. The room had a microwave and a fridge. Due to covid, cleaning staff aren’t coming to your room to clean or change sheets. If you need anything (sheets, towels, TP) you grab it from the front desk. It’s not ideal because sand ends up everywhere, but it is what it is. We ended up taking our garbage out to the dumpster, while annoying, it wasn’t that bad. There was free breakfast in the lobby to take back to your room. A large waffle maker, bagels, English muffins, yogurts and oatmeal. In addition to coffee and juice. Overall, the place felt safe. The location to the beach was perfect. We used it as a place to sleep and shower.
It is really a Motel 6.

We arrive and are quickly checked in, by what seemed like a robot. The front desk staff, who lives on site, had no personality. The pool/spa said it was under construction but it looked like a storage area when I peaches in. The room was average until I sat on the rock hard bed on a metal base that sounded like a file cabinet. Also the mattress was hanging over so one side could not lay on it until we slid it more centered. Of all my stays this by far was the worst bed. It was like cement with blankets. The balcony railing is nothing I would trust my small child around. It felt like it could easily break or not hold- yet I did not see any warnings. Also, when booking I did not realize it was a motel 6. Yes all the key cards say motel 6. It was not less than the preferred place I wanted to stay but it was booked up- so disappointed. Did like how Mo’s was next door since it was so busy in town. Went to walk on the beach not the bay, but there was a homeless person camped on the beach and feces all over- not the hotel’s fault obviously.
Run down dump

The place hasn't been updated in a long time. Help said that the pool and spa had not been available for " a long time". Room furniture is beyond Goodwill's quality. I would never stay there again at any price.
