Nice Place for a Quick Stay
Opinión escrita el 7 de Agosto de 2021
Close to I-99, restaurant in front of the hotel, ample free parking, and free breakfast. My room felt a bit dated but everything worked. They're doing the toiletry thing where they have large pump bottles attached to the wall. I realize that's an environmentally friendly practice but it seems kind of icky with a pandemic going on--glad I brought my own. Property was very quiet, even on the first floor. Not my first choice in the future, but not a bad place by any means.
Nice Place to Stay

I stayed here one evening, on a weeknight while visiting the area for business. The overall property is nicely maintained, which is impressive given how dated the fixtures, carpet and overall appearance of it is, especially in the room I was in.
The young lady who checked me in was awesome... very friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and very clean. The bathroom was spotless, very clean and the shower in it had amazing pressure. The tub area was very clean as well. The hand soap was tiny, but it worked. Only issue with the room was the light in the entry area, near the door to the room (ceiling light inside the room) didn’t work.
TV worked well and had more channels than I think I’ve ever seen at a hotel! So many channels, too bad the channel guide didn’t work, so I needed to actually go to each channel to see what’s playing to know what to watch.
The room could definitely benefit from having more outlets too, so phones, laptops, etc can be plugged in, especially next to the bed.
This property has an indoor pool and also a gym. The gym has a set of dumbells and three pieces of cardio. The treadmill was Lifefitness and it worked great. It was disgustingly coated with sweat though, so maybe hotel cleaning staff can keep a better eye on it while cleaning other common areas.
Overall, I liked the property and I’d definitely stay here again.
Best state college hotel

This has been fantastic. Antoneo, night clerk front desk (August 19-21st stay) is the most amazing young man I have literally encountered over 100+ hotel stays. Such a gentlemen remembered us, jumped up for an extra towel! Plus with COVID the precautions taken were top rate. Yes you had to ask for cups. No there was no “ice” bucket but hey let’s be real, that’s the right way to do things now in this time. I will stay here again. We will be here 6 times a year. My daughter started Penn state main today. I really feel safe here. I’m not worried where I usually would be. Night clerk antoneo needs a thank you

Check in was quick. We had just stayed at another Fairfield and when checking in we asked if the procedure was the same where we had to request a hair dryer and coffee. He said we needed to take up a hair dryer, coffee pot, coffee, condiments and the tray for the coffee. These items are not currently in the room and are sanitized after each guest. We had our luggage to take up so told him we would stop back down for the items. That is a lot for someone to carry to the room. The room has a seal on it stating it has been cleaned and sanitized and indicating we are the first person in since the cleaning as in the previous Fairfield we had stayed in. The room was clean. While I understand and appreciate the Covid precautions there is an ice bucket in the room, can't figure out why that can be in the room but not the other items we had to carry from the desk? The TV remote was not in a sleeve indicating it was sanitized as in the previous Fairfield. Bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.

Donovan, who works your front desk, is extremely polite, helpful, and patient. He helped my niece and I many times during her stay and was professional and great. Your lucky to have him. Thank you, great service!
