The resort is so terrible. We have stayed here before, but each room is totally different you never know what you are getting. They are dated, and this one is dirty. I had to take 2 hours to clean everything. It was so gross. The cabinets are Old. This time we had the angels ocean front the view is nice. That is where it ends. The curtains have holes, the floors are Dirty, the couches and chairs are dirty. The carpet??? The appliances are old dirty . They had a hole for the microwave and then they just put one on the counter and left the hole. There was painters tape on the handle in the bathroom and hair and dirt!! Lots of stains in the counter! It was horrible. We had other units that Were dated ,but this ine is absolutely gross. Looks like they haven’t changed anything for 30 years

We booked a two bedroom ocean view accommodation and I must admit I didn’t know what to expect for every good review I felt like there was a bad one. We waited until last minute to book for the new years weekend and this was the only location that had two bedroom units available that I could find. The check in process was amazing the staff at this hotel was absolutely amazing. I was very surprised at how much we used and appreciated the amenities this resort had! The indoor pools were on the smaller side there was only one hot tub but it ended up being okay we never were in a situation where we couldn’t get in. The reviews about the parking garage had sketched me out but with that being said I was impressed with how much parking space was in the garage and it was connected to the building!!! So you didn’t have to cross the street which was a huge plus!!! Yes the parking garage is tight and you must allow extra time to be careful when leaving and coming in but I can appreciate all the spaces available in the past we have been at resorts that ran out of spaces in the garages and were stuck using a sketchy overflow lot multiple streets back. And we never had to worry about that with this garage. So I can appreciate it! At the time there was only one working elevator but there was postings stating they were doing maintenance since it was the off season and I actually appreciated it we still didn’t have much issue during check in and check out getting on the elevator. You just had to be patient. There were a couple of times we chose to use the stairs which wasn’t an issue for us at all. Our room was very updated and I loved the layout and view! The washer and dryer in the unit was brand new, lots of cabinet space, fully furnished with kitchen utensils, the beds were extremely comfortable we had no issue resting. The only negative I could possibly find was that they could have taken a little extra time to worry about the details when it came to the cleanliness of the room. But other than that we were very very pleased!! This property wasn’t the most fancy we have ever stayed at but it was definitely laid back and everyone including the other guests were so friendly. It was a breath of fresh air honestly. I was impressed with how great the grounds of the hotel were kept up! If you are thinking about booking this hotel do it you won’t be disappointed unless you are extremely picky I’m assuming the negative reviews I read before booking that had me nervous were individuals that are way too nit-picky and don’t have patience for others.

Great ocean front hotel 👍✅ROOM #1604👍🥰 Rooms is nicely updated with nice kitchen & bathroom cabinets & soft top stove & convection oven…WOW!! A place to relax & enjoy the ocean all year round👍 Go gooooo & enjoy it au maxxxx 👍😜🥰🥳🥳🥳👍

Great location, beautiful, spacious rooms, with a view of the ocean from your own private balcony. Greatly appreciate that the staff allowed us to check in earlier than their standard check in time as it was a long drive for us. They didn’t have maid service, which was fine with us because we only had to call housekeeping if we needed fresh towels,soap,shampoo etc. and they delivered it promptly to our unit. Only downfall was the parking garage as you had to enter and exit on the same ramp and that they charge $10. a day to park in it.

We had an Executive King Suite on the 20th floor. The view from our balcony was perfect. The unit was owned by a private individual and could be updated. The bathroom needed some repair by the heater/AC closet (door and tile molding needs repair). All in all, we had a very nice time there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pools were well kept and the beach access did have a foot washing station as you came up from the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.
