Amazing bed and breakfast in Napa!!

Stayed there for 3 nights while staying in Napa. Beautiful grounds, very peaceful, very friendly staff, wonderful and quaint breakfast each morning…couldn’t have been a better stay! Room was a little small but that’s just fine for bed and breakfast inn. And it was within easy walking distance to downtown Napa for great dining.

The property itself is very charming, but the overall stay wasn’t worth the money. The staff was friendly enough, but the breakfast was very disappointing. They only served cold items that looked to have been prepared the night before, like yogurt cups and hard boiled eggs. They were also constantly running out of food and silverware. Frankly I’ve had better complimentary breakfasts at most low end chain hotels. The neighborhood also isn’t great. The walk into town is in a somewhat mixed area and the street is very poorly lit after dark. We noticed some seedy people loitering at the end of the street leading into town after dark. I thought it was unusual and checked the crime map after we made it back and noticed the area was in the highest tier for property thefts and assaults. We decided to drive everywhere after that night.
Beautiful property in Napa, great rate, and extremely top quality hospitality

This is an absolute gem of a location in Napa. A short 5 minute walk from downtown, while also set back far enough to feel not directly in the hubbub like some of the hotels. The overall property is jaw dropping — a grand stately home from the Victorian era chock full of old-timey architecture and design details, lovingly brought up to modern standards. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The dining area and back yard / pool area are an absolute treat to sit and enjoy some coffee or a meal. And the hostesses are a true pleasure. They care for your every need and even anticipate needs you didn't know you had.
Customer Service was a Huge Disappointment

We did not feel welcomed or safe during our stay. My friend and I were looking forward to our mini getaway, however as soon as we entered through the front door we were looked at in a very disrespectful and rude way. It definitely felt like we were not welcomed in their establishment.
Despite feeling disrespected, we proceeded towards the front desk to check-in, and right away we were told that they were trying to get a hold of us because there was an issue with the second booking. Instead of greeting us, they dived into the conflict, which was easily resolved.
Two days before our arrival we had inquired about booking two massages, and we never received a follow-up phone call. After feeling uncomfortable with the poor customer service, we decided to make sure they knew we were no longer interested in receiving spa services.
The woman who completed the registration decided to remove her face mask half way through the process, which felt unsafe and uncomfortable. At this point, in retrospect the best choice should had been to leave, but we were optimistic that things would get better throughout our stay.
Later in the day, when we decided to walk into town, we decided to check-in to find out what was the best way to walk into town, and the same woman proceed to explain how to get to the downtown without walking by the homes that were not kept up by the neighbors. It felt very judgmental and uncomfortable. My friend and I decided to walk straight into town, and we realized there was absolutely nothing wrong with the homes. It was definitely unnecessary to make an unhealthy comment about the neighbors' homes. Instead of sounding like a privileged individual, it would had been easier to just simply give us directions without the extra comments.
During our stay, we did not feel like COVID-19 safety measurements were fully in place, because the employee did not fully wear a mask, it was not reinforced, and there was NO evidence that anybody was going around wiping surfaces or making sure the rooms were in order.
At the end of our trip, my friend waited for me to pack and to check out. While she waited, she inquired if she could enjoy the facilities, and she was told by the woman in the front desk that due to COVID she needed to leave the property. Please keep in mind that during our stay there were no COVID-19 systems in place. It rather felt unsafe.
The rooms are very modern, however, pricey and the customer service is extremely poor. There are only two people taking care of the facility, which felt super understaffed.
We will not be back. Both rooms were not worth the price.

Absolutely precious Bed and Breakfast. Beautiful pool with cabanas and garden area that is open 24/7. Rooms are decorated well and customer service is out of this world. Beth, who works at the front desk, goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable (making dinner reservations, setting us up with champagne by the pool, etc.). Will definitely be staying here again.
