Wonderful!

Reviewed 11 june, 2019

We stayed here last year and loved it so much, as well as our entire time in Naples, that we returned this year. Both years we had excellent experiences. The location is superb— in Centro Storico, tons of good restaurants, bakeries, cute shops within minutes of walking, as well as the excellent archaeological museum. Metro station is a 5-7 minute walk, and the Naples metro is easily navigable (better than Rome, for instance). The area is very safe and lively, and as two women we felt comfortable strolling at night. The staff is at the front desk 24 hours which is lovely, and they are all very kind and helpful (we had troubles figuring out excursions to Capri/Amalfi etc and they made calls for us, and we had an issue with the host of our Airbnb for the next leg of our trip and they called and talked to him for us). The breakfast is abundant, very nice and has good choices. Our room was beautiful, had a comfortable sofa included and a beautiful, large and sunny bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The only thing to note is that the Terrazze is connected to the Hotel Neapolis but not the same. There is an elevator that takes you from the ground floor to the Hotel, where the check in desk is. The Terrazze rooms are a floor up, and there is no elevator. Not terrible, but if you have trouble with stairs, book the Hotel. We stayed in the Hotel last year (after they were kind enough to switch us because of the stairs) and can attest that both hotels are wonderful.

Very nice hotel in Old Town

Good localization. Small nice hotel at the fourth floor. Good breakfast with the delicious coffee. Appropriate place for the walking on your feet around Old town . Room was nice and everyday cleaned. Lift available.

Great central location

Lovely spacious, clean room in a really central location allowing access to the surrounding sights with ease. Close to the train station, port and metro. Great value for money and helpful staff. Would definitely return.

Underwhelmed

My husband and I stayed at the B&B Le Terrazze di Neapolis for 3 nights. Apparently it's a hotel and a B&B and the entrance is well hidden and off putting (one enters through an iron gate in a sort of court yard to then either take an elevator or strais to get to the reception). To get to the B&B one has to literally leave the hotel part and go a flight of stairs upstairs. What we foung strange was that we were asked to leave our keys at the B&B (there is no receptionist) accessible for everyone who enters the B&B. This made us feel quite incomfortable. On our last night, when we returned around midnight, we found our door open which was shocking. We checked our belongings and nothing was missing. The door had signs if forced entrance, but as the room was not exactly new we are not certain if these signs were there before and maybe the cleaner just forgot to lock the room. We would have liked to report this to the receptionist immediately but he was away to do another check-in at a different place. When we told him about it the next morning he didn't seem to care at all. At this point we didn't bother telling the receptionist how disappointed we are with our room and the breakfast. While the bathroom appears to be fine we realized one should not lean on the sink as it is not fixed and may fall down any minute. The door of the shower didn't close and the drain in the shower is clogged and the water stays in the shower forever. It was disgusting. The bathroom door was difficult to close and made a lot of noise which was really great at night when one of us attempted to use the bathroom quietly. The breakfast was very disappointing. While the coffee was good, the food was a failure. Despite arriving one hour before the breakfast was over we were offered croissants from the supermarket packed in plastic. We were speechless. We did come very early the next day only to find the same situation. We have to praise the lady at the breakfast though, she prepared a nice cake and a crostata during our stay. According to the website, which we find is not a good representation what one can really expect, the wifi connection was not good in our room. Unfortunately, we also had to learn when we arrived that the bar is closed because it's not the season yet. The location itself is great, Sorbillo is in walking distance so are lots of other very good pizzeria places however, we won't come back.

Location and Hotel are just perfect

Had a wonderful long weekend here - the hotel and staff are charming and the housekeeping is immaculate. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to visit during the Christmas Market season. It can be a little noisy but the hustle of Naples is hard to avoid, the view from our room was charming looking out over terracotta roofs and church towers.
