Out of town from St. Tammany Parish for daughter's wedding

We came in from Louisiana to sign the venue papers for our daughter's wedding in Nashville. We were very pleased with this hotel. When the wedding happens in September, we will definitely be staying here again and will suggest the other family members coming in for the wedding to do same.

Clean Comfortable/Lacking Technology

Reservations were made ahead of time. Hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is in need of renovation in regards to carpet and technology in rooms (USB charging ports). It’s my humble opinion that ALL Hilton brand hotel should have USB ports to charge smart devices. USB has been around since 1996. There is absolutely no excuse/reason for hotels not to have USB charging ports/stations in their rooms.

The stay was average. The hotel hallways need cleaning. The first thing a guest sees in the condition and upkeep of the hotel. It was subpar. The first room I checked into has a torn cushion on the sofa. That told me that housekeeping is not paying attention to details. I was switched to another room, which was better for the moment. The first morning I discovered the shower only partially worked. As I left for the day, I advised the front desk and was told it would be addressed. Upon my return, I was told it had been attended to but not completely fixed. I tested the result, better, but certainly, it wasn't working as a shower normally does. I explained my issues when I checked out and received excuses regarding poor prior management. Guests want issues dwelt with quickly and completely. Should I have requested or been offered a different room, yes. But at that point, the next room might have been worse.

Friendly and helpful staff but facility is not Hilton Quality

The staff was helpful and friendly. The facility appeared to be clean, but it’s hard to see past the outdated fixtures and furnishings. The carpet is stained and worn, the showerhead was something out of a horror movie, the closet door was half missing and broken, and the sofa cushions in my room had been stitched together. I would never stay in this facility again as it is. I booked without looking at reviews because it’s a Hilton property and I will not make that mistake again.

Nice place to stay for a week.

Great place. Great free breakfast. Real close of Gaylord Opry. Once we got to know the area, it was easy to get in and out of everything. I recommend the local golf courses and eateries. Nashville is expensive and this place cost a bunch but was nice to have a home away from home.
