BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
Everyone at this hotel is so kind and friendly! You immediately feel welcome when you are greeted by the staff. The complementary breakfast area is staffed by one of the kindest individuals I’ve ever met. David went out of his way to ensure we have everything we wanted and more. Very friendly with a great sense of humor! Overall, highly recommend!!
A Let Down
I was very excited to stay at this hotel having read reviews. We were kindly upgraded to a corner suite with a "city view" (I'm a Diamond member) but do be warned that construction is horrendous (that's all of Nashville) so if you don't want to be woken up at 6am by construction I wouldn't take a room facing the city. We checked in and a man (I later found out he is head of housekeeping) checked us in and informed me that the evening social was taking place weekdays 5-7. I then asked the night manager to confirm it was happening and he told me it was. You can imagine our irritation when we returned deliberately the next day and were told it hadn't been happening for months. It's fine that it isn't happening due to COVID, but surely your staff should not be telling guests it is. Breakfast was a let-down, a bit Motel-6 and the best you'll get is a waffle. I understand breakfast will be limited but other hotels in Nashville still offer hot options it simply isn't self-serve... We had issues with housekeeping (I wasn't told I had to request them but have stayed at hotels since COVID so figured I might). I told the night manager we'd like housekeeping each day, were told no problem no need to request, then they never came. The head of housekeeping told me we had to request housekeeping and wouldn't therefore be getting it. Frustrating. We had to move room due to to a crying baby (all through the night and yelling all day, they weren't even next door). I complained the first night about the noise and nothing was done, so the second afternoon on hearing yelling children I went downstairs and Kelly did move us. Of course, not ideal having to pack and move only to check out the next day but it was much quieter going to a smaller room with an atrium view. All I would say is, perhaps it was due to being a holiday weekend, but with the exception of Kelly the staff seemed surly and inept. The only person who has their time wasted/stay interrupted by staff telling you things that aren't the case etc. is the customer on vacation. It is a great location, and when the bar/restaurant is up and running I could see it being a great hotel.
Great location & nice staff
This hotel is a terrific location for walking to Broadway. Just a few blocks but quiet and peaceful. The staff is also very nice and accommodating. We had a late flight and they even called us to let us extend our stay a few hours, which was so helpful. My family loves the kitchen & ability to spread out a bit over a traditional hotel room. I’d probably pay up for an exterior facing room next time as I like the natural light and those rooms seemed bigger than our atrium facing room.
Great Location, very clean, great staff
Great location for downtown activities, without being on top of Broadway, which gets crowded and loud. Hotel staff were excellent and very accommodating, in taking care of the room we were put in, providing us with information on directions, restaurants, ect . Our room was very nice, very clean, and on the first floor. The breakfast was minimized due to Covid restrictions. I would stay there again, they are also animal friendly, as I saw many people with their dogs.
Weary Traveler
This was our fifth stay this year at a hotel in the Hilton family and by far the best during this covid-19 season. The hotel is less than 10 miles from the airport and walking distance to all the major tourist attraction in downtown Nashville. The staff was friendly and helpful and the valets really hustle to get your vehicle. The beds were comfortable as advertised, but the star was David Nieves. Being a morning person I would get up early and sit in the lobby to read and I would see David set up for hot breakfast every morning. He was very attentive and friendly and single-handedly cooked waffles and served eggs and potatoes to everyone who asked, since self service is not allowed due to Covid-19. All this while other hotels offer you a sack breakfast with an apple, a breakfast bar and a water. Sometimes it's the little things.
