We stayed at the Residence Inn for one night prior to flying out of BNA. Thank goodness it was only one night! Jewelry was found left in the room, the tile portions had not been swept -bathroom and entry way. There was even a pill in the floor! No extra sheets were in the room for the sofa bed. I walked to the office and was told they had no pillows though. The queen sized bed was soft and uncomfortable. The room also smelled strongly of spicy food. I could have handled that, however, the uncleanliness was totally unacceptable. The gentleman working the desk credited us $20. We will not be staying there ever again although the proximity to the airport is great.

Staff was very friendly and helpful ,room was pretty decent, breakfast was same as you would buy from a gas station's hot sandwich case and about as tasty. BUT a $7.00 parking fee to park in front of your room? Not a garage, not valet, but a random spot in their parking lot. Was going to stay again on our return through Nashville, but chose a different hotel that won't pile on the charges. I dinged the service rating because of this....

"Free" breakfast is terrible; all pre-wrapped food like from Kroger's. Lazy employees. Rundown rooms. Maids left their popcorn on the floor and removed all towels. Marriott should pull their flag and rebrand it as Motel 6.

So comfortable in this townhouse style 2 bedroom. Full kitchen and free hot breakfast. Comfortable pergola outdoor space perfect for relaxing after a long day sightseeing in Nashville. Short trip to all the downtown attractions and universities.
Stay elsewhere, dirty and mold during covid = unacceptable!!!

Service: delayed check-in for 30 minutes even though we arrived well after the check-in time. we were not able to do contactless check-in despite having completed all the required steps. The room was DIRTY! Food stain on the floor and counter, the dishwasher was running when we arrived as if someone had tried to quickly clean the place. The a/c unit on the 2nd floor room had visible BLACK MOLD in it. I honestly should have left and called the health department, but we were leaving early the next day. We didn't use the ac upstairs due to the mold. The food/stains on the counter in the kitchenette indicates the place WAS NOT CLEANED thoroughly at all. Not comforting at all when places are allegedly doing enhanced cleaning. I call BS! The manager and the cleaning staff and front desk staff should be truly ashamed for allowing guests to have such an awful experience. This was the only room available or we would have asked for another or just left. What a crap show!
