I would recommend Travellers

Reviewed 15 june, 2022

I would like to send a big shout out to the staff that I encountered prior to and during my stay. I had some concerns prior to my visit and Shellian was exceptional in making sure my needs were met. In the last couple months I had been dealing with some personal issues and this trip really helped to take my mind off of things. The resort was a much smaller resort than I am normally used to staying,  but I enjoyed the small feel as you recognized the regular staff and even fellow guests. The staff were on point and handled an issue of mine very professionally and expeditiously; shout out to Rochelle.  My housekeeper,  Caroline, always made sure my room was good and smelled nice. The restaurant staff; with a special shout out to Tamara, Kereen and (I can't remember her name but she was training and had only worked there for a month, who was very bubbly and friendly).  There were a couple others, but again,  I don't remember their names, were very efficient and took care of my significant other and myself right a way. The grounds and room were kept very clean and tidy. Issues arose beyond Travellers control the day I checked in; water issues and cable issues,  which was communicated to us. The spot where the resort is situated on the beach was beautiful. Security staff was also helpful in finding a spot on the beach to sit as well as giving us an umbrella. My only complaint would be that they have more of a selection when it comes to Jamaican dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was great otherwise. I would definitely return to Travellers as well as recommend it to friends and family to stay on a visit. I was sad that I didn't get to tell staff that I had connected with bye as I had an early flight. Thank you Travellers.

We’ve been coming to Traveller’s for 5 years now. Having initially selected Traveller’s through its Jamaican ownership, we found we loved the place! The founder, Winston Wellington built the first bungalows and has expanded over the years to create a great hotel to meet all budgets and expectations. They have a new chef who took the time to talk with us at the bar, about our preferences and favourite foods. Where else would that happen? It’s not to far from town and the West End, which we love and has a perfect location on the beach. The staff are like family and have been there for years- the mark of a great employer and of loyal staff. Some of the profits have been invested in the local children and schools. A shining example to all of us. We will be back and will continue to recommend Traveller’s to our friends and guests who want to see Jamaican hospitality at its best. Congratulations to owners, managers and everyone who works there and keeps the place beautiful, clean, safe and our plates and glasses full! Cups Up!

Work in peace

As you walk into the front lobby a gentle ocean breeze hits you and naturally relaxes you telling your mind and body you are on vacation. When you check in at the Front Desk the staff makes you feel like everything you need will be taken care of. The Restaurant and Bar staff get to know you and as the week goes on anticipate your drink orders and remember your food preferences. The restaurant also provides an array of different entertainment every night. If you want to do some exploring outside of the resorts Guest Relations is fantastic at providing safe, affordable options along with arranging transportation. My favorite spot though was on a beach lounge chair watching the sunset with a frozen cocktail from the bar. “Paradise”!!

Home away from Home! Amazing Place!

From the moment I entered Travellers Beach Resort , I felt a warm welcome. Firstly, the staff was gracious and kind and did everything to make me happy after a long journey. The help of your whole staff which includes housekeepers, waiters and of course the management team was above what I had expected. I definitely can’t wait to go back to the resort! It truly is my home away from home. - Drew

Absolutely AMAZING and SAFE experience!

This resort is INCREDIBLE. I did a 7 day stay and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Travellers has an amazing home feel which I haven't felt in any other resort. The resort is directly on their own private beach. The water was so beautiful and clean. The staff was so delightful and friendly - they were very helpful when asking about local excursions. They even give back to the local communities through nonprofit organizations. Seriously, REDEFINED MY EXPECTATIONS OF RESORTS. I HIGHY recommend Travellers!
