Booked a relatively inexpensive hotel for a short stay and was not expecting much on arrival. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it exceeded my expectations. From the outside it looked fairly rundown and could do with a facelift but inside it was clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Breakfast, which was included in the price, couldn't be faulted. The rooms could do with upgrading but are clean, warm and comfortable and adequately equipped. The hotel is situated in a quiet location within easy access to all amenities. Parking was not available on the premises but we had no problem finding a spot nearby. There is a lovely park and lake across the street with a playground for children. If you are travelling on a budget and not looking for luxury then this is the place for you.

Excellent price, very old hotel

This is one of those places where a review is a dilemma. Score high because of their prices. Or low because of the quality. So average because you get way you pay. The good: super price, the cheapest i could find in 15km radius. Friendly staff, well organized check-in and clean room. So the fundamentals are good. The bad: the hotel is 15 year behind on maintenance. Carpets are so bare it literally has holes in the corridors. Towel racks hang from one screw and all painted wood is scratched. Breakfast was ok, although on Sunday I had bread from the day before. In germany i would expect day fresh crispy rolls considering breakfast was not included in the roomrate. All in all, i would stay here again if in town for a day and needed to have a convenient overnight place. Not a place i would go with my wife for a weekend away though.

Avoid at all costs

Just spent an hour trying to get them to accept our online check-in (pre paid booking). Rooms are seriously grim, especially on the fourth floor; weird layout, and strange does leading to the innards of the building... A bit creepy... No iron or ironing board in the whole hotel, and the remotes for the tv don't work. There is no WiFi available either, not great for a business trip.. And this is just after an hour spent in my room...

Let's be positive as it could improve

It is nicely located : at walking distance of the nice center of the city of Neuss, close to a park with jogging options and in a quiet residential area ... with very limited parking possibilities if you arrive late.As expected a basic offer but you could see that the refurbishment has started ... and hopefully will not stop as there is still a lot to do. Nothing wrong with the room overall excepted bad isolation hallside. Breakfast is okay and served with willingness to do a good job.

Very basic and noisy hotel

Noisy hotel, had to wait long at the reception (15 min) to be helped with just the key of the room. Bed & room were ok but not to be recommended for staying more than 1 night. Also parking was not free and the streets around the hotel full so no place to park the car anywhere close.
