We were in new Bern for the Shriner event in town. This hotel knows how to take care of its guests. We were greeted immediately by the front desk and our room was clean and well maintained. Stephanie in housekeeping made sure our room was perfect for us. Linetta in Breakfast was so nice we got to talk to her for a little in the morning we will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience! Chaz Hargett, Guest Service Supervisor was very accommodating and made us and other guest feel welcome. She was a pleasure to speak with over the phone as well. Rooms were clean and roomy. Highly recommended!

This hotel was perfect from start to finish. Welcoming staff, big comfortable suite, great breakfast. We got a map of downtown New Bern from the front desk staff who circled the places we wanted to go. We loved the town...great history, arts, food. Would stay at this hotel again for sure!

The springhill suites in new bern nc is a great hotel very clean and worth the stay. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant giving you the best experience and down home feeling when you stay there. Was very thankful for the friendliness of staff and the breakfast was awesome and hot. Ms Katie is great and ms Vance was to. Mad my stay very pleasant and would definitely stay here when I come down again. Very convenient location also.

Chose this hotel because its a Marriott property and had location I wanted as well as indoor pool. I stay at a lot of hotels for work and I mainly care about cleanliness. However, this place - this modest place in New Bern blew me away with the kindness. I'm originally from New Bern so it isn't like its just a superficial southern hospitality thing. I was working in the dining area and hoping to get coffee before it was tossed for the day. Mrs. Katie asked how I was doing and told me "I'm so glad you decided to stay here". That sincere gesture of kindness was so powerful. She stopped what she was doing and arranged that someone else later could dispose of the coffee after she left. She wanted to leave it a little longer since I was there working. Others in the hotel were also kind and helpful - we had kids with us and were coming from the West Coast. So we needed a little more than usual. But Mrs. Katie is stuck in my mind. She also helped me our last morning at breakfast. She was there to help customers - that was her heartfelt desire. So the hotel was clean and comfortable and that alone would bring me back. But based on the people, especially Mrs. Katie, I will not stay at any other hotel in New Bern. This is our place from now on.
