We visited New Orleans on a girl's trip for my 30th birthday and I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed from a Thursday to a Tuesday during the month of June, and we did not encounter any issues during our stay. The hotel is conveniently located 1 block away from Canal St., 11 mins walking to the French Quarter, and 5 blocks away from the Police Station. The rooms were clean and room service was available upon request. Note: There are 3 different Courtyard by Marriott hotels all which are located in Downtown New Orleans, make sure to check the address of your hotel prior to your arrival. Lastly, make sure you have cash when you are visiting NOLA, and if you have Bank of America know that there are NO Bank of America ATM's in the entire state of LA. We will definitely return to this hotel on a future visit to NOLA! :)
Nice location, good service.

Got here early - Charlene found us a nice room on an upper floor. We weren't reminded that we were early or told us what a favor we were getting - she just offered us the room. Hotel was quiet and clean. Location is right off Canal and easy to drive to and from. Valet service was good. Value/room price was very good.
Pretty sad when playing on your cell phone is more important

Rude staff. Not sure where to begin. I work for Hilton, but decided to stay at the courtyard as my wife made the reservation. Check in was good. The gentleman who worked Monday evening was great. Then the next morning was when we had to deal with the crankiness. Valet gentleman felt his cell phone conversation was more important than helping his guest. After advising I needed something from my car he expected me to walk. I came back in and advised I’m paying $40 to valet. He called someone and I was able to get something out of my car. I sat back and just watched him play on his phone and treat everyone like they were just second priority to his phone. I won’t be back.
Great Hotel/Great Location

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. One of the few hotels in the area that accept pets. The location is great and is about 100 yards from the edge of the French Quarter and less than two blocks from Bourbon Street. There are lots of restaurants close by. The only downsides were hotel parking is very expensive and there was no space to unload at check in. Lots of unattended cars with their flashers on, but no one at the desk checking in. We ended up unloading around the corner in a "no unloading" area and parked offsite at Canal Place. Otherwise, great hotel in a great location.

My heart is broken with Marriott company. I have been a Marriott fan for so many years. Whenever I travel to many different states or countries, Marriott has always been my #1 place to feel like home. I've never had an issue with Marriott until I booked with The Courtyard Marriott in the French Quarters New Orleans. The front desk and I had a misunderstanding with my reservation, which caused my rate to be $126.00 over my original reservation. Grated the hotel manager has done a fabulous job trying to rectify the issues, however, it didn't resolve my problems. My claim was closed due to her final decision. I was told by Marriott claims department that they will no longer investigate and the hotel manager will credit my account back for the one day stay twice charge and a courtesy $50 credit. It's been almost a month and still waiting for someone to respond when I will be receiving it. My feelings are totally hurt by this. Great location.... Cute rooms... awesome staff minus Front desk staff Carlene. But the lack of communication with all issues is my deal breaker.
