Great location at affordable rates

The hotel provided a genuine New Orleans experience in the center of the French Quarter. The location was perfect, and the hotel was beautiful (check out that courtyard!). The room was clean, however, the air conditioner unit seemed to have a bit of mold in it. It is Louisiana, after all, and the weather is extremely humid so we understand that sometimes there is not much that can be done. The staff was extremely helpful at all hours. We would recommend this stay to our friends and family, and would stay again.

Loved our time at the French Market Inn! It was very clean with lots of character and the location was fabulous for restaurants and shopping (yet very quiet at night when we were tired after a long day). Everyone on staff was wonderful - thanks for making our visit to N.O. great!

Charming hotel in the french quarter

Really lovely hotel right in the French quarter, full of character and charm. Super friendly staff and within walking distance of everything. Felt super safe and parking just over the road. Room not massive, but really nicely decorated, comfy and quiet.

Some initial hic-ups but overall good stay

When we arrived, we were notified there was no parking (which we had been promised and was included in our reservation). The hotel is very centrally located, which makes driving to the hotel and parking near the hotel quite expensive and difficult. There were power problems in the area, all the street lights were out and the hotel's credit card reader and all room keys were not working. Connor was very helpful and remained calm through the stress and panic of many hotel guests. He deserves a raise for his professionalism! Our room was wonderful, it was very quiet and the beds were quite comfortable. This hotel is in a great location where you can walk to Burbon St, explore the french quarter, and watch ships sailing up and down the Mississippi. If I'm ever back in New Orleans, I will stay here again, and I hope to see Connor still working at the hotel, he was definitely a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster staff.

A very comfortable place to stay.

The room and Inn was very clean and comfortable. The people working there really great. They were very polite and helpful. The location is perfect, quiet and cozy. We did not get to use the patio but, we walked through it and it was wonderful. The only drawback is parking. We parked in the lot across the street for the Inn which was very nice but, it cost 45 dollars for 24 hours.
