Don’t book based on the Hotel Pictures
Reviewed 22 july, 2022
Booked into this Hotel for the weekend to get out of the cookie cutter Marriotts. STAFF: The staff at the reception is friendly and very nice (that earns the two points!). ROOMS: The hotel consists of two buildings, I stayed in the one across the road from the main reception. The corridor to the lift smells like a toilet (used by someone with diarrhea) , the first room I got was so moldy that I asked for a change. Second one was at least decent with a beautiful view on the HVAC units, a blinded window. The pictures you see in the hotel description look way more spacious than they are in reality. LOCATION: Location is good, far enough from the quarter to avoid the noise but close enough to get everywhere in Downtown fast. PARKING: Two Premium Parking around the corner. Not sure what you pay for the valet, but download the app and park, works well. AND? If you booked based on the pictures, you feel cheated. Marriott has way better properties.

Stayed here for a quick business trip to NOLA. First tip is for parking, a little confusing, but they have a valet and loading zone between the 2 buildings. Don’t get confused here as the property is both buildings. Gym is in the 2nd building but other than that they are the same. The lobby was nice and had a great little bar. I didn’t not eat breakfast there but the b/fast sandwiches looked great. Room was nice, and not to loud except for the cops in the city kind of noise. Air conditioner was subpar and wouldn’t cool the room off enough to my liking, but other than that the rooms are fine.
Lovely hotel, Sonya on the bar is fantastic

Had a couple of nights here on a road trip, valet parking girl was quiet to the point of rude and barely spoke, apart from her the rest of the staff in the hotel We’re wonderful the reception and bar staff were so friendly and lovely to speak to and had loads of advice for us, Was our wedding anniversary while we were there and they so kind in giving us a lovely bottle of chilled Prosecco in our room which was a lovely gesture. Sorry for forgetting names of all the lovely staff but Sonya on the bar is such a lovely warm friendly lady who is a great to the hotel. Bar drinks and food all good and we’ll priced, Room comfortable and shower hot and powerful Hotel situated close to Canal street
Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Very good hotel. Clean rooms. Pleasant and helpful staff. Friendly bar staff. Good location to walk to the French quarter without being in the midst of the noise and chaos after you turn in for the evening. We did not eat at the hotel with all the great restaurants available nearb. They do offer a limited menu at the bar.
Absolutely Worst Hotel Service

Whoever is working AM front desk (Sunday May 29th 6:00-7:00am) is hands down the absolute worst employee I have ever experienced at a hotel. We need our car to go home, the valet is not here, which is fine, we can get our own car. Upon receiving keys to find our own car, the garage is locked and we were told at 6am it would be 20 mins until the valet could arrive at get in since he’s also working at the Sheraton. We are now 40 mins past that, and the best answer we got is “I called the guy”. I get it’s not her problem, but y’all need to be teaching her a better solution. What if someone needs to get their car in an emergency? Can you do anything to express concern or do anything for your guests? Not only do we need to drive 8 hours and got up early to do it, we also get put second in priority to another hotel with no accessibility option to get our car. It is a serious disappointment, a really terrible way for your employee to act, and a joke. I am stunned at the fact there is absolutely no solution to get the car or anything offered to try and help the situation like having accessibility to the garage. Gross.
