The staff is the highlight of this hotel. They treat you like an old friend and we felt so welcome and well taken care of. Special shout out to Vanessa and Britney. Other pros: blackout curtains, quiet rooms, station to refill your water bottle, great location, felt safe. Cons: The rooms themselves are a bit old and small. The flooring didn’t seem quite finished in our room and it was quite dusty. Not great if you had bad dust allergies. There were no shelves for us to unpack our clothes either.
Great room, decor, and staff

I stayed here for 1 night, and loved it! The decor was so pretty, and our room was very nice and clean. We checked-in in the afternoon and the heater in our room seemed to be broken. On our way out to go to dinner and City Park, we informed the front desk. When we got back, our heater was fixed and the room was nice and warm! I would definitely stay here again.
Would not recommend

Beware the Hotel rooms look nothing like the pictures on the Marriott website. We got to our room after a 45 min check in. Elevators are small, luggage carts don’t fit well. Only place to unload car for luggage etc is a narrow alley that was always crowded with workers vehicles. First room was an “upgrade” because of my husbands status with Marriott. It wasn’t large enough for 3 ppl with luggage. Nowhere to put the luggage at all. Can’t even begin to stress how small it was. This was an “upgrade”. Got switched to another room in the next door building. Doors for building never worked. Were always jammed. The hallways are painted dark gray and there is zero natural light anywhere except the lobby. Low ceilings and so cramped and tiny. The next room was even worse. It was a tiny but larger but not much. Luggage had to go on top of the desk. No closet. No windows. Zero light coming into the room. Tiny bathroom two people can’t even be in at same time. Room had a horrible musty mildew scent. We could not wait to check out. I would never recommend this hotel ever. Parking is a lot across the street for 30$ a day. Two nights was two too many. I cant stress enough how the room looked nothing like the photos. I have never stayed in a hotel room with no windows. It was honestly the most depressing hotel I’ve ever been to.
gone downhill w really bad service

I don't know what happened to this hotel. This was our third time staying. Location is great. Can't beat it. That is about the only thing this place has going for it now. They say housekeeping will make up your room if you make the request. I requested three different times on two different days. Nobody ever came to the room. They give you three small pillows....so I asked for another. It never came. The sheets on the bed are very thin. No comforter. Water pressure in the shower is terrible. Tried to get a cup of coffee downstairs in the morning but there was only one person working and he was completely overwhelmed (no fault of his own). Put out a thing of coffee where people can pour themselves vs having me wait 20 minutes (!) for a cup of coffee. Each time I called the front desk to request housekeeping or visited to get an extra key they acted like I was completely inconveniencing them. I have status with Marriott and stay in hotels very often. This will be my last stay at Q&C.
Overbooked hotel, Turned away with no assistance

I booked this hotel well in advance and when I arrived for check in, I was informed that the original room booked (a 2 queen room) was no longer available and that only a 1 king was available. Having no other option, I had to accept the room. I paid for the first room in full at the time of booking but was told that no payment was shown, even though it was seen on my statement. After spending a long time trying to settle the charge, I had no choice but to be charged again for the new room and dispute the first charge the next day as it was getting very late. When I gave my card to pay for the King room, I was told that the system was incorrect and there were actually no more rooms available. I was then forced to scramble to find some type of housing for me and my family at midnight with little to no assistance from the staff at this hotel. The only assistance I received was information for another hotel that apparently had an open room. Upon arrival at the other hotel, I was told they also had no rooms available. There was only one staff member available that night and there was no ability to talk to management. The experience of arriving to a hotel you booked only to be told the room was no longer available, being led to another hotel that you're told has rooms only to be turned away again and having to scramble to find a place to stay that night for your family ranks as the worst travel experience I've been through by far.
