Likely the best of the three Wollongong City Tourist Parks
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Over the course of our stay we used an Ensuite Powered Site and a 1 Bedroom Ensuite 4 Berth Cabin. We found both types to be well kept and good value. The Ensuite for the site was spacious and appeared fairly new. The cabin wasn't brand new, but was very well kept and clean. The onsite kiosk or cafe and proximity to the beach, lawn bowling club, local shops and restaurants were all bonuses. Despite proximity to urban conveniences, we fell asleep to the faint roar of waves and woke up to a chorus of birds. The only items lacking were that (1) the Ensuite Powered Site was strewn with bottle caps, which at first we didn't notice which could explain why they hadn't been cleaned up, and (2) in neither the site nor the cabin in different parts of the park were we able to connect to the WiFi. We'll likely return in the future.
Filth, filth, filth
We checked in on the weekend and found the amenities in an absolute filthy state, other "so guests" told us they had been like that for days, it is now Monday night and still not cleaned worse in fact. I don't appreciate my health and safety being put at risk by a mob that does not adhere to federal law regarding covid19. I vomited in the mens amenities it was so bad. If you value your health and safety, stay away. Management and staff, hang your heads in shame. I have not attached photos as they will offend.
Long weekend getaway
Great location close to the beach, we stayed in the spa cabin over the long weekend. They’re neat with sufficient balcony and barbecue. Well furnished with good facilities. We were with a group and noticed some cabins had dishwashers while ours didn’t. Kids park and a cafe within the grounds and shops close by. Reception staff seemed a bit stressed due to the busy long weekend, but overall a great getaway.
Great little place near the beach
The cabin was clean and it actually was how it looked online. So many times I have booked places and photos are old but this place was great. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but thats the only thing I could say as everything else was great. Will definitely come back
Wonderful tourist park
I stay at this tourist park every time i go camping down south. It is right by the beach and has great BBQ facilities, bathrooms and the RSL club is walking distance away. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
