This modern property enjoys a privileged location for all visitors of the greater New York area at just 5km from the John F. Kennedy International Airport. Everyone travelling throughout the airport can utilize the complimentary shuttle service of the hotel, which makes catching that early morning flight quite easy and convenient. Those of the guests who have some free time can also visit the nearby Aqueduct Racetrack, some 4km away, where some amazing races could be seen during the main racing period between October and April. For the busy business traveller or tourist the hotel can offer del...More details

The Worst Experience

The front desk staff is very unprofessional and nasty. A staffer by the name of Joel told me that I could choose to stay at another hotel after I asked for housekeeping and was given the run-around. I'm staying here because work is being done on my home, I had to cancel thanksgiving plans to cook so to be met with such a nasty exchange from customer service is mind-boggling for me. This is a hotel, these people are supposed to be hospitable, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy
Convenient for the airport but tired hotel with brash rooms

Delta unduly delayed my flight and then sent us to Crowne Plaza for the night. I called the reception and they sent a shuttle for us. Check-in was a bit disorganised but the front staff did well but dispatching us to our rooms fairly quickly. The reception's night shift made a great first impression. As we walked to the rooms, we noticed people sitting and sleeping, basically camped out in the hallway, which was odd. The room décor was a rather distracting red and the air-conditioning was loud but inefficient. My fellow delayed passengers mentioned they could hear my shower running, and perhaps my conversations, from their rooms. In the morning, I had arrived after midnight in NY after flying into Washington from LA so I had a hard time sleeping in the red room and had woken up at 10.30am. I checked with the front desk and was told I would be kicked out of my room in the morning at 11am (even though the Delta voucher stated 11pm). I asked for an amenities kit because my luggage was with Delta and received a toothbrush and satchet toothpaste, not what I was expecting for Crowne Plaza. So I rushed to shower and check-out because I didn't think it was worth paying $75 to spend the day in that room. . My best impressions were created by the restaurant staff with their warm, cheerful service. Wouldn't recommend staying for more than a night, to catch an early morning flight at JFK
Only hot water no Tv

My room only had hot water I was forced to bathe in on hot water and I was not able to mixed with cold water, was a very uncomfortable bath. The TV had no signal all night. Was not a very good experience. The shuttle takes for ever to show up, waited over 1 hours for three shuttle.
Could be better

Check in was quick even though the hotel was very busy. Room had a musty smell. Sheer curtains look worn out, windows are so grimy on the outside one can hardly see through. Breakfast is basic plated service. You select one Main from the menu plus coffee or tea or juice. Snacks at the lobby shop are ridiculously priced - 500ml of water is a whopping $4. The housekeeping kept knocking my door from 8am to clean the room even though I had the DO NOT DISTURB on my door and my check out was 11am. Very irritating indeed.

Website claims parking. Not true. No valet parking. Had to walk half a mile in a not great neighborhood at night. Hotel staff surly when I showed her the web site which claimed valet parking available.
