What a Refreshing Start to our Vacation - You Have to Meet Daniel at the Front Desk!

After a long day of travel to New York City, we were completely exhausted as we arrived at our hotel, the Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square. We were completely revived when we met Daniel, the person at the front desk who checked us into our hotel accommodations. Daniel was dressed very professionally, but had accents in bright colors and had his beard decorated with adorable butterfly clips to add to his festive attire. We couldn't help but smile and feel very welcome by this individual. Not only was he fun and festive, he was also very friendly and welcoming. We actually looked forward to seeing him each day we were there because he had a new "theme" each day. I applaud the Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square for allowing their employees to express themselves and be who they truly are! You can tell he loves his job, and that the hotel respects their employees. We will definitely stay at the Millennium on all future stays to NYC!

Wonder employees. Filthy dirty worn out hotel.

The staff is excellent. Front desk folks are friendly and helpful. My housekeeper was a seriously a delight. Very cheerful and kind. The shower water pressure is awesome. My room did not smell musty. (Which is huge for an NYC hotel) My shower was free of mold. Everything else about this hotel is horrible. It is nasty dirty. Old and worn out like 1982. I am sure back 40 years ago this place was nice. But it is now dirty and worn out like a old used up truck stop. Maybe worse. I was here for business and had no choice. I will never stay there again. Who ever owns that place should be ashamed to run such a filthy nasty hotel and take peoples hard earned money. Go elsewhere. All my compliments about the staff are genuine. They are very kind and helpful people.

este hotel no respeta las reservaciones, mejor busquen otro hotel, el pasado 09 de septiembre tenía una reservación qu habia hecho hace 6 meses en ete hotel y de la nada cuando llegue la reservación habia sido cancelada por el hotel, sin darme una explicación lógica o mandarme un correo antes cancelaron la reservación y no hicieron nada para ayudarme, el gerente y el personal se portaron muy mal eduacados y no les importo que me quedara sin hotel aún cuando tenia una reservación. ya no había disponibilidad en ese hotel, ni en ninguno que estuviera cerca a este y obviamente las tarifas habían aumentando, tuve que hablar a expedia y gracias a ellos después de 3 horas pudieron conseguirme otro hotel. this hotel does not respect reservations, better look for another hotel, last september 09 i had a reservation that i had made 6 months ago in this hotel and out of nothing when i arrived the reservation had been canceled by the hotel, without giving me a logical or explanation send me an email before they canceled the reservation and they did nothing to help me, the manager and the staff behaved very badly and they did not care that i stayed without a hotel even though i had a reservation. there was no longer availability in that hotel, nor in any that was close to this hotel and obviously the rates had increased, i had to talk to expedia and thanks to them after 3 hours they could get me another hotel.

They are totally living when they say it a 4 star hotel it’s like more like 2 star. The hotel room was beyond nasty I had to change rooms 3 time it was beyond. Find another hotel to stay at and save your money. The into thing I would say they did clean the room everyday and brought fresh towels but that dose not make up for the grooms tub and the burn marks on the furniture looked like crack den.

Bogus Upgrades and Believe the Bad Reviews

We received an offer to upgrade to a king suite with 580 sq ft. Looked at their website and found their king suite with 580 sq ft has a sleeper sofa in the living room. Since we are traveling with kids this was perfect. Paid the extra for the upgrade for both rooms and when we checked in no sleeper sofas. Andrew the night manager said they haven’t updated their website and there are no rooms with sleeper sofas. Manager doesn’t want to give us a refund for the bogus upgrade and said he won’t give us a refund if we change hotels. We checked in at midnight and couldn’t make a change tonight. Manager said if we waited until tomorrow morning to check out he’d charge us for another night. What??????!! Keep your money and go to a hotel that values their guests and doesn’t offer bogus upgrades and unprofessional managers.
