Basic hotel in good location with limited service
Reviewed 19 january, 2022
This hotel is functional but rather basic. I am a Hilton Diamond and was denied an upgrade despite availability (on some of the days of our stay). Dirty coffee pods were not removed for 3 days from the room, and coffee was not filled up either in the room. There were tea bags but no way to boil water. Shampoo was not available either and we were told to use shower gel to wash our hair. I flagged these (and other) shortcomings with staff but no attempt was made to rectify them. The $30 credit per day is - to put it politely - a joke and shows how not just this hotel but Hilton USA has gone from a service economy to a pure money-grabbing business. There is barely any item on the breakfast menu for $15 or less per person so that you de facto end up paying extra for your breakfast. Moreover, many executive lounges across Europe and the Middle East are open but not so here (or indeed elsewhere in the US despite much lower Covid incidences than in Europe). For example, one could have at least handed out free drink vouchers to Diamond members. What is the point of having a genuine elite membership (earned through stays and not via a cheap credit card deal) if all I receive as a Diamond member is bottled water? Many staff lack even the basics of hospitality in this property. On a more positive note, the location is very good and the view from the room is great too. Overall, however, this property cannot be recommended and falls well short of international Hilton standard.
I will be back

Barry at the front desk was very friendly. Gave us a free upgrade to get a better view of the city! As well as a $30 credit each day for the restaurant (Hilton Diamond members). Clean and the views were great. Went for my 25th birthday and I will be back when it’s warmer.
Best Hotel ever!!!!

I absolutely love this hotel. It’s quiet around the area. The hotel is clean, the rooms are beautiful and the views are insanely gorgeous. Staff members are professional and friendly. The inside of the lobby is also very well kept and cozy.
Not happy with cleanliness

This was my second time at this location. The first time there was blood but I did not report it because of plans I had that night. This time the room was dirty. Spoke with the manager and he said he didn’t have any other rooms to move me to but will send housekeeping up. The room should have been cleaned before me entering that room. I was exhausted and wanted to relax. I’m very disappointed with my stay and do not see myself going back
