For location to Newark airport, it's great. The room was decent but the towels were like using sandpaper! I was very surprised that the shuttle didn't make stops at all the terminals. That's a bit inconvenient! If I were traveling w/ my elderly mom, I would have been upset w/ the extra worry and taking the tram, etc. Breakfast and convenient store isn't open on weekend! Another disappointment.

Horrible Shuffle / Racial Discrimination

Reviewed 27 june, 2022

Horrible hotel shuffle driver! On approach he shook his head side way (left and right), which I read it as “No”. I was in New York State, not India. No other passenger approached this shuffle and it took off few mins later. 30 mins later , the same shuffle and driver showed up again as per time schedule. I am determined not to be passed off this time. I walked to his drive door. He was unwilling to speak until I insisted him to lower the window glass with hand gesture. He confined he was servicing to Courtyard Newark Liberty. I then asked why he shook his head to me and took off 30 mins ago. His replied “You didn’t tell me where you were going”. I am a Chinese male and the driver is a male with African ethnicity. I could only feel that I was racially discriminated purely based on my appearance!

Functional, close to airport

Reviewed 26 may, 2022

It is a basic business hotel suitable for between flight meetings or the night before a flight. Nothing special but it is clean. The restaurant is pitiful. Very limited options both food and drink. Unless you are desperate, take an Uber into Newark. The gym is also worthless. Great for a quick sleepover but otherwise? Not so special

Good with one flaw...

Reviewed 1 may, 2022

This was our first trip family trip since the pandemic. We have stayed here before and it was a nice experience with the obvious protocols in the hotel. Staff greeted us and it looked lively at the bar area. We were given a courtyard room first floor (our request) and all seemed well as we were going to sleep at 11:00 p.m. for our 8:00 flight. Then the music started and it was loud (not from the courtyard) but it had to be one of the neighboring rooms. These are things you can't anticipate but need to deal with once in a while as this hotel was sold out. All in all a nice stay.
