Incredibly dirty, no staff on sight all day, which is pretty scary, considering the flimsy doors and the outright dangerous neighbourhood and no customer service at all. No one there to contact if there is something wrong, e.g. the putrid bathroom, loud customers running in the hallways at midnight or theft. Do not book here under any circumstances, even if the price is good.
Cheap and safe hotel

I stayed here during my business trip. There are shared rooms in this hotel. Hotel is not very close to center of London. But can accessible to center almost 6-7 stop by metro. Metro takes 20 min. by walking. Owner is a friendly man and he helps. Rooms are clean. This hotel is cheap I recommend here. Thanks.
Avoid ! Paid for 2 nights left after 1

Booked 2 nights while visiting twickenham. No reception. Have to ring 30 minutes before arrival so someone can meet you at the door. Had to take credit card that the deposit was made on and even though the balance had to be paid CASH on arrival they take a copy of the credit card and driving licence WHY? Coincidence it may be but I have been contacted by my credit card provider to say the card has been compromised !!! How odd !! Had to move the car first thing as only permit holders can park on the streets. Decided not to bother staying second night and preferred to drive home rather than spend another night.. I have stayed in hostels that are miles better than this place.
Great for the price!

Me and three friends rent a big room with four beds in this hostel in April 18 for holidays. We were a bit confused by some bad reviews we read about it on advance but after the stay there we didn't have any complain. It is beautiful, kinda fancy looking I would say though it is an old building, the window has nice London views, the room was tidy and clean, with a kitchen fully equipped, it was in a safe and central part of Newham, 2 minute walk to the main street where all the shops are, and 10 minutes to the station which is in that street as well. The man that is in charge of the hotel was very nice, he helped us with questions... I really recommend it :)
Clean, cheap and comfortable. Just the job

We booked this as 3 friends staying for a concert at the Olympic stadiium. A very good price for London so our expectations were not high altough we only needed a base to sleep at anyway. As requested we phoned ahead 30 mins before we planned to arrive (looks like quite a few people reviewing this did not read this requirement) and were met by a pleasant chap at the door who let us in and showed us around. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious with a decently kitted out kitchen and a kind of sun patio area. Beds were very comfortable, shower had very good water pressure (not the 'dribble' you sometimes get in converted buildings) and it generally ticked all the boxes for what we needed.
