Un muy buen hotel un poco lejos del centro de Charleston

Es un hotel que conseguimos a un precio muy conveniente por Booking, ya que otros hoteles similares eran mucho más caros. El hotel y las habitaciones son muy modernos y con excelentes servicios, aunque el personal en general no eran ni amables ni comunicativos, con la excepción de la encargada del desayuno que es todo un personaje. La zona es tranquila y un poco alejada de Charleston, pero se descansa bien.

Hotel perteneciente a la cadena Marriott. Bien ubicado y de fácil acceso. Personal amable. Hotel moderno, todo renovado y con muy buen gusto. Desayuno incluido muy completo. Estacion de café las 24hs sin cargo. Vale la pena visitar.

I have stayed in Marriott hotels for many years and became too complacent. We should have checked the sheets before going to bed - but didn't. The next morning we found blood stains on three of the pillows and on the sheet. When we looked closer, we also found a body fluid stain on the comforter. The manager was not available when we checked out and we have not been able to contact her. Please check your sheets before you stay here.

We encountered bed bugs and more creatures on our visit and the staff has done nothing to this date rectify the situation. We were told it is just a problem in the south and not much can be done about it. We live in the South so that was a poor excuse from their management team. We were offered to move to another room where we encountered more bedbugs. This room was 2 floors down and on the opposite side of the hotel. We informed their team we would just stay in our room another night since there seems to be an issue and there was no other place for us to go. We were told they would clean the room as we were to be gone for the next 5 plus hours. When we arrived back to the room later that night they had done nothing to clean the room. We took pictures of the bedbugs and other bugs to show they did nothing and my wife actually cleaned the room completely with their equipment since they did nothing. We thought corporate Marriott would help rectify our horrible stay but they stated they did everything they could do on their side. What they did is send an Orkin man to our room AFTER my wife had cleaned it and stated it was OK. I guess the pictures of the live bugs and dead ones meant nothing to the local management team or their corporate offices. As of almost a month later nothing has been rectified about our stay. Long story short I would not recommend a stay at this location as there is definitely an infestation and they do not seem to care…..

This was a great stay. The room very large, the bathroom was spacious. The chair at the desk was was so comfortable, I wanted to take it home! Noon check out was wonderful for this late riser. I didn't see the breakfast because I was never up on time, but that's my loss. Very clean and really nice staff.
