The nastiest, most roach infested dirty room that I’ve ever stayed in hands down. The room was dirty and disgusting. I cleaned the room for several hours myself. A cleaning, towels, soup, linens or nothing was provided for the whole week. Keys never worked. An apparent maintenance man that did nothing and barely spoke English took 15 minutes to crow bar it open one night. The Indian owners are dry, discourteous and extremely rude. Don’t waste your time, money or potential health

Suburban Extended Stay Hotel North Charleston I-526 on Dorchester Road is good for what it is and and that is a roof over your head and a place to get some sleep. The location is very convenient to just about every place in town as it is in the middle of everything and close to 526. If you are in town and need a place to stay for a good value and do not have lofty expectations this may be a place you want to check out to make your budget stretch further. The staff here is really accommodating and works hard to make sure your stay is good.

This establishment will screw you and screw you a second time. After driving over 12 hours to get here had a horrible experience! They charged me for the 2 nights $180.20 and gave me our keys. Went to the room and there was someone already in the room! 2nd set of key was issued, and the room was ajar and no fridge was in the room (was supposed to be a FULL Kitchen with a full size fridge), and then the 3rd room (last available) was not cleaned. The people living there looked like they lived there permanently and were not savory looking people. I felt like I was in the hood. Asked for full refund (still waiting for) and was told they couldn't do anything else for me. Then left the hotel and get charged for a "NO SHOW" charge of $90.10! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING HERE! Save yourself the stress and headache!
Not the most organized place but okay

It was a little confusing to be booked into what I thought was "Extended Stay America" and then find "Suburban" something. Wasn't at all clear where I was. But they were nice enough. Then it got interesting when they gave me my key, I went to the room and when I opened the door there was some guy in there in bed watching TV. Could have been iffy. And in order to get back to the front desk and get a different room I had to walk around the entire perimeter of the building, carrying all my stuff. Twice. They gave me another room, even closer to the highway than the first (noise suppression is a big thing for me), however the room was quiet enough when sleep-time came. Room was reasonably clean and not too smelly (mostly cleaning chemicals but not overwhelming). One of the stove elements didn't work -- it was most efficient to fix it myself, which I did. The fridge definitely worked very well, and I appreciate that. The radio wasn't set at all, had to set the time on it and then when I went to set the alarm, that also didn't work, so there was no point. This particular date I wanted to watch a baseball game, located it on the channel listing and the channel said "no signal". Found another alternative (HBO) and there was nothing there either, so TV was useless. One of the plates I pulled out still had food residue on it so I had to wash that so as not to get blamed even though I wasn't going to use it. Other than that, had sufficient silverware and dishes. I bring my own cooking pots, knowing to do so from past experiences. They supply a coffeemaker, but it has no pod tray. Turns out you have to BUY them. Also they do provide dishwashing soap but no paper towels to clean up. Gotta bring your own, live and learn. And be sure to bolt your door shut in case they book the same room twice. Overall it was OK if you have the patience to cope. Traffic noise was well-insulated, so I did get to sleep, and that's the main thing.
moldy,leaking roof,no towels,no Wi-Fi,room keys stop working after couple times using them,canceled PRE_PAID reservation

NEVER stay here. Removed stained and greasy washrags, towels, shower mat then Never replaced them the next 4 days. Rooms smelled moldy and water dripping from ceiling. No Wi-Fi the whole time. Room keys stopped working after 2or3 times and had to be constantly replaced. Pre-Paid reservation was cancelled after 1 day delay checking in even though a phone call was made to inform of the delay and the intent to check in the following day-big hassle ensued.
