mE DEJO VERDADERAMENTE SORPRENDIDO . El hecho de que fuese la primera vez , que veía una habitación de hotel , con tv en el cuarto de baño , y que después de la boda , nos encontramos con que sin nadie pedirlo , teníamos en la habitación todo lo que había sobrado del banquete,perfectamente empaquetado en papel albal y dispuesto para que nos lo llevásemos . Hay que tener en cuenta que estoy hablando de hace 23 años ,Cuando aquí en España , si pedias lo que había sobrado de una comida , te miraban por encima del hombro . Tiene unas magnificas Suites , y son unos artistas haciendo las clásicas figuras de hielo , que se suelen ver en las películas .
Not COVID Cleanliness
Upon checking in my room there was maybe a 1/2 inch of toilet paper left on the roll. Thank God there was some tissues. I asked the front desk for TP and more towels. I was given TP and towels were to be delivered by housekeeping. Then I discovered a man's hankie on the floor between my bed and nightstand . I was upset because the room was to have been carefully cleaned under COVID rules, so I took a picture and was headed to front desk to show them. When I opened the door there were my clean towels! Instead of knocking on the door and handing them to me, they put them on the hallway floor!!! I was LIVID! The guy at the front desk didn't even offer an apology! I attached the picture of the hankie.
Horrible Gym and Service
I book better hotel because I nearly always do a workout in the gym. This hotel has a tiny gym with 3 machines and the AC set to 72 degrees. The treadmill is defect since months and the elliptical and the bike a crappy and are half defective too (after probably more than 20 years of service). I complained at the reception, the lady apologized and promised me some reward points. She also said the treadmill will be repaired next week. I looked it up - I never got any reward points and the treadmill will probably be defective for the next years. So my answer to this "service" is: 1 🌟 it of 5
Large, comfortable room
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites August 24-25. Easy check in. Room exactly as we had hoped for. Plenty of space, microwave, refrigerator, large bathroom. Very pleasant staff too. Continental breakfast was very good also.
Typical, clean, comfortable Holiday Inn.
We spent 4 nights in a clean comfortable room where everything worked and was as expected. Staff at front desk was helpful and the breakfast room staffer was a joy. Totally cheerful and helpful with all my questions about Lebanon. My 2 requests to improve the stay is that they open the pool before 8 am and they vary the items offered at breakfast. We will definitely stay again when back in Lebanon. Thanks .Jim.
