WHITBY WEEK BREAK
Basic but met our needs. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. Change rooms half way though so fri to sun room ok shower not on suit .Sun to tues attic on suit and a view good size room ok. Good price PHONE Tamzin DIRECT.
Disappointed
Me and my cousin stayed for one night, although Tamzin was very welcoming we were overall disappointed with our stay, the room which was outdated and in need of refurbishment as paint was flaking off the walls, towel rail came out of wall when using towel to dry hands, and half the shower panel along the floor was missing. We both found the beds comfortable, however the room seemed to get very cold through the night even using the spare blanket out the wardrobe. Breakfast was terrible I’m afraid, bacon looked pale and under cooked, same with the sausage, tomato was raw and most of the mushrooms. Being pregnant i wasn’t taking any risks and so just stuck to toast. Staff didn’t seem bothered that both our plates hadn’t been touched.
Whitby Visit
Small guest house a short stroll from the attractions of Whitby. Basic but met our needs. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. We where given a parking pass for parking on the road, but there where very few parking spots, we parked overnight in the local leisure centre, and moved the car in the morning to avoid paying the parking charges.
Just ok
Over night stay was very put off with the outside of the guest house weeds growing through the paving on entrance, not very welcoming. Tazmin is a lovely lady whom kept us chatting in the hallway for a good 15 mins. The room was on the top floor was adequate for a 1 night stay lovely bedding & nice towels breakfast wasn’t the best but for £65 a night I couldn’t complain I was happy that the guest house accepted dogs and more than anything that’s what mattered to me.
